Hotel Finisterre Playa - A de Loló Hoteles

Staff was very helpful and attentive tour needs. Location was great as was breakfast.

We stayed here on the final two days of our Camino Finisterre (Sept 27th-28th, 2026). Late September is the "off-season", so we got an exceptional discount rate for the Junior Suite on the 3rd floor. It was wonderful! We loved the balcony - it faces east and we had a splendid view of the full-moon rising over the mountains and the bay. We loved the jacuzzi tub. We loved all the space in the main/central living area. We loved the huge over-sized king-sized bed. We loved being so close to the beach that we could hear the waves thru the open windows. It felt like we were the only guests in the hotel, it was so quiet. This is the second time we've stayed at this hotel, and this time was better than the first. Can't wait to stay here again!

The hotel seemed short-staffed, presumably due to it being the off-season. In our two days there, we only saw three different hotel employees. But that's just an observation, not a complaint.... we had no issues that required any special attention from the staff. The hotel is about 5km from the Cape lighthouse (KM0). Be aware that if you stay here, a walk to the lighthouse and back will be a 10km hike. The downtown area and bus stop is about 1-2km away.

Such a beautiful, modern hotel, that was so close to the beach. Martin and all of the staff were kind and helpful. The food was great, too! I highly recommend this hotel!

The air-conditioning made the noise of a train riding through the room. Too noisy to sleep with. Thus, one had to open the windows, which made it also very noisy because of the busy traffic passing on the road right next to the hotel. So unless you're a sound sleeper, ask for a room at the back of the hotel.
