Good location, nice spacious rooms.

Location was great, breakfast lovely, and the guy looking after the guests at breakfast was very attentive - top marks.

Bathroom/ shower very small, but we were in a small double room

Proactive host called to inform us our rooms were ready while we were on the ferry coming over to the island. Very warm, genuine welcome. Host was intuitive yet discreet throughout our stay. First rate service.

Wife mentioned she had difficulty with the shower temperature on the last day of our stay. It was not clearly demarcated to show hot/cold on the taps. I didn't have the same issue!😕 A form of racking to air dry swimwear would have been useful. The host kindly offered to tumble dry any items we needed drying which was just another example of them going over and above to meet customer needs.

We loved our stay. Perfect little room & the staff were so friendly with recommendations of where to eat out & taxi recommendations. Highly recommend

The Kenbury is excellent. The room was all we could have asked for and extremely clean. The facilities provided, especially a fridge in the room, with provided fresh milk, are all you can ask for. The breakfast was brilliant and served efficiently by excellent friendly staff.

A great welcome by Paul 👍🏻 they upgraded me to a massive room ( as I was the only guest there) which is there best suite, it was such a great surprise, thx 🙏🏻 so cosy , I melted into the large king size bed 😌 wasn’t a fan of the cooked breakfast but everything else was lovely 😊 so worth staying there, highly recommend 👌🏼

The cleanliness of the room, the breakfast, the pleasant friendliness of the host. The location is good for getting out and about also. The Kenbury was easy to find with easy access.

Everything was lovely, the room, the staff and the breakfasts were exceptional

The staff were inviting, friendly and you can tell that they care about the quality of your stay. Cooked breakfast was lovely, and they were brilliant in accommodating our two young children. Pablo was brilliant in making my 3 year old son feel welcome and got smiles from my 9month old daughter. The B&B itself is well maintained and has good parking. The room we had was perfect size for what we needed.

The worst part is the location, but it wouldn’t put me off staying with them again. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the nearest seafront and the trek is down a fairly steep hill (which you’d then have to walk up again). As mentioned, this is not something that would prevent me from booking again.

Had the best time in the Isle of Wight - made even better and even more special thanks to the absolutely fantastic Kenbury team. The team really are the most kind, happy to help and thoughtful team I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. The room we stayed in was perfect, and the breakfast was fantastic. The location was also excellent - just in between the seafront and the old village, so easy to walk to both. Thank you to the whole of the team, and a special thank you to Paolo who really is sunshine in human form. I can’t wait for our next visit to the island, and I know exactly where we will be staying!

Excellent customer service, very good breakfast and perfect location

Two rooms we hired (one double & one single) were comfortable, clean and well furnished. There was a double bed in single room that could easily house a couple. Two rooms were very similar in appearance with double slightly bigger than single due to different layout (double room had smaller bathroom with sink located outside in the bedroom which had its own advantages& disadvantages, but gave the room extra floor space). The sound insulation was good and we didn't hear any neighbours and had a comfortable sleep without much disturbance from other guests. Everything was COVID secure with masks and sanitising gels provided in the rooms and breakfast services arranged in different time to limit overcrowding in the dining area. The breakfast was fantastic with all possible food on offer. Fried English breakfast was accompanied with croissants, homemade jams, cornflakes, etc. The dining room was relaxing and spacious. Paul, who served us and looked after us throughout our stay was friendly and funny. We were advised on places to visit and the best way to get there. Loved the atmosphere and will definitely stay and recommend this place for others.

It was too hot in both rooms especially in smaller room on our arrival. We switched of all radiators and kept windows opened to keep the temperature down, but I still would've preferred the temperature to be couple degrees lower. Although the air fans were provided in each room we didn't used them and preferred to leave the windows opened, which allowed occasional street noice in. The birds at 4 am were extremely noisy neighbours, but that only added extra charm to this place.
