Staff super friendly and the hotel full of character
The rooms could have a bit more personality especially as it’s such a beautiful building, if done up I’d happily pay double the rate

friendly staff. Dinner was amazing! Breakfast excellent. Finding entrance to car park difficult ,,went round block twice! Could do with a better sign as its just on the wall

Breakfast - a Full English in my case - was Excellent. It set me up for the 17 miles hike over lanes and footpaths to Worcester the next day. For anyone who suddenly needs one, they have a classic Ballroom with sprung hardwood floor. Golly.

Staff were very helpful. Location, for a family celebration, was excellent. The hotel was clean and bearing in mind the properties age/history the rooms were adequate. Guests need to bear in mind they are not large and facilities limited when compared to modern standards.
We stayed two nights and we would firstly thank the staff for being helpful in trying to resolve my `issue` after the first night in room2. Bed mattresses are invariably a personal `thing` but on the first night I had a very soft mattress which led to a disturbed night owing to minimal back support. We then were moved to room 4 but unfortunately that mattress was no better. I may have been `unlucky` but based on my experience the hotel need s to look at these beds and replace the mattresses.
