Home Hotel Arcticus

The location on the waterfront was lovely. It was quiet and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast and dinner included in our stay but did not partake as we wanted to check out the options in town. The hotel was walkable to the main areas in town and we caught the Aurora right outside it! Staff were very helpful in placing my room and fellow travellers rooms next door to each other, which was greatly appreciated.

We loved everything about this hotel, from its truly fabulous waterfront location to the very enjoyable stroll along the harbour into town and to the ferry port and bus station. There is also a supermarket practically next door, which stocks pretty much everything you could need — incredibly convenient. The staff were polite, professional, friendly and extremely helpful throughout our stay. It was also lovely to be able to enjoy a meal in the restaurant while taking in the beautiful sea views. Our room was huge! It felt extremely spacious, comfortable and welcoming, and the cleaning staff did a fantastic job. What more can I say? The whole experience really did feel like a home away from home, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would happily return!
