Owners and staff - Jeannette was friendly, cheerful, kind, and accommodating, as were staff. Jeannette even kindly gave our sleds a lift in her buggy because they were very heavy and awkward for us to carry. They accommodated us in the restaurant for dinner on a busy night even though it was very late (and the food was great).
Location was quiet (on the far end of the center of town - but it's a very small town, so it's not really far), very close to and convenient to the train station, and our rooms had incredible views.
Perhaps the size of the room with two beds was a bit smaller than I had hoped - was sharing with a friend. But the rooms were clean and cozy, and with balconies, and had the very best views.

Nothing beats the view of this place or the warmth of their hostess Janet! We loved every minute of our stay. Breathtaking views, at an affordable price.

The staff is very friendly and they give detailed information about the local sightseeing. The room is very clean and some of them has good montano view.
The budget room is a bit tiny and the facility is a bit old. The breakfast has very limited selection.

The mountain view, the staff, everything was incredible! We felt so at home staying here. Provided a lovely breakfast each morning. The mountain view from our balcony was unlike anything I have ever seen before. Including a picture of the sunrise view. If you are reading this- do not look any further, please book it immediately. Best money I have ever spent.

We had a great few days - the rooms are new, very comfortable and spacious. Great people on the staff - good restaurant, booked for one night but ate there both nights. Close to the train station - very accessible.
The view is a little spoilt by the railway line - but very little train traffic. Have to walk a couple hundred meters to the town center.

Our staying was absolutely adorable! The team are quick and lovely, food is incredible, near the ferry station, near markets, near snow places, wonderful view from the windows, super clear, cozy, we definitely loved it and recommend it :)

Other than going to our room to relax, there wasn’t a lobby with places to read or converse. There wasn’t an elevator for access to upper floors.

Excellent Stay, Jeanette and Thomas were both amazing. Jeannette was always very helpful with suggestions and going above and beyond. Thomas cooks the meals and does a great job with authentic Swiss cooking. Breakfasts were well stocked in the traditional Swiss Continental varieties.

The town of Murren is a very pleasant place to stay- so nice and relaxing. Lots of hiking trails, the mangers of the hotel are wonderful and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable

This hotel is conveniently located near the train station, shops and restaurants. It’s clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast is very good. Jeanette the host goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need - very happy with our stay!!

Conveniently located near the train station. Great views from our fourth floor room. Spacious newly remodeled room. Delicious dinners, prepared by Thomas, in the on-site restaurant. Jeanette was so friendly and helpful! Highly recommended!
Be aware that there is no elevator. The Alpenblick is located at one end of the village, so it’s a 15 minute walk to the other end where the tram to Shilthorn/Gimmelwald/Steichelberg is located.

we loved the space and the comfort of the apartment. with two bedrooms and 1.5 baths it was perfect for our group of 4. We loved the spacious dining room which became our game table in the evening. Our hosts made us feel like family providing us with delicious daily breakfasts. Although we didn’t use it other than for pictures, we loved the walkout balcony with comfortable seating and the great view of the mountains. Murren is a charming village and offers many good food options. it’s elevation means extra train and gondola connections over other locations lower on the mountain, but the charm and the beauty were worth it for us. our hosts were very helpful in providing hiking and dining tips.

there is no elevator , its near train stop but about 10-15 walk into center of town and gondola .
