Warm welcome, clean & comfortable room, excellent continental breakfast. Owner opened up the bar especially to serve us drinks.

The initial impression driving in the property looked a bit run down, probably considered rustic. A large property to maintain, a little rough around the edges. Having said that the room was clean & comfortable.

Quiet location but close to centre of Bergerac

Your site showed there was a restaurant but there is not. Could you update please. Had we known we would have booked elsewhere

The building was charming, and it is set in lovely parklands. The manager was very friendly and helpful. We had no interaction with anyone else.

it is a bit tired, and needs an upgrade. Seems a bit neglected, but could be amazing with a little investment. The towels were clean, but frayed.

Liked the pool and surrounding green spaces and gardens, with large trees and little tables and chairs on the lawns . The bathroom was clean and spacious .

Maintenance of gardens ( ie weeding and general tidiness) , maintenance of the rooms ie. electrical shorts in the system feeding the TV sets in both rooms , sink plug in bathroom getting stuck and hard to open .

Disappointed that there was no restaurant because this was why be booked in the first place. The chicken van was overpriced for what you got.

I believed there was a restaurant but when we got there it had been closed down for a year, breakfast was very good but a plate would have been good to put your croissant on.

Spacious mini resort with a sizeable pool and very kind helpful Manager

Our host which appeared to be a single gentleman was very friendly and attentive and made us very welcome. Breakfast was very good, croissants were superb and was a great start to the day. Loved the pool… a good size, 12 metres long I think. Bed was comfortable. Would stay there again, hotel was well located for what we wanted so no complaints 😀

Booked hotel as restaurant was rated only to find it closed for the season !!!! Fairly dank smell in lobby and up stairs . Very disappointed

General decor and somewhere to eat

The gardens and pool were lovely.

Nothing, for the price it was as expected. Basic but very clean and comfortable.

Splendid cottage house immersed in the vineyards and surrounded by a nice park. Very local touch to the rooms and the facility in general. Good swimming pool.

No air conditioning. WiFi signal not reaching the rooms. We were refused a drink at 10:08pm as the staff told us they had just stopped service. We were refused a place at the restaurant despite having tried to reserve it at 6pm as the staff told us they were complete. At 8pm we passed by the restaurant and there were maybe 10 people eating in the terrace while the main dining room was completely empty. The waiters explained us that they had only one staff in the kitchen and therefore could accommodate only a handful of people.

The room was very run down and dirty and the smell in the corridors reminded me of a hospital. The food was terrible

The gardens were lovely.

The hotel was very 'tired' and had the smell of an old folks home. e.g. our headboard had a huge rip in the vinyl.

A really beautiful place to stay. Beautiful rooms and gardens.

2 night stop over on our way back to Calais. Enjoyed exploring Bergerac and surrounding area. Hotel Flambee is a delightful hotel also excellently placed for our journey onwards as we didn’t have to head into the busy town & get caught in traffic. Staff at the hotel were very pleasant and welcoming. Breakfast very good . Room clean and pleasant with door opening onto to the garden. Great shower .
