The Spa is lovely. It’s a very beautiful location at the bottom of the Stelvio Pass. The hotel is grand and full of history. Very beautiful.

The rooms we were put in overlooked the forest at the back. They were extremely dated. We struggled to charge devices as several of the sockets didn’t work. The staff on the front desk were not interested in us at all. We were only driving Porsches not Ferrari’s or Lamborghini’s. The light in the wardrobe was on a sensor every time I turned over in bed it switched on. When I mentioned at checkout I was informed I should have called reception at 2am to report it. The room could have been cleaner and the grout in the shower was discoloured with mould. It was not a restful stay. You have to book the restaurant well in advance of your stay. We were informed 2 weeks prior to our visit it was fully booked and we would need to taxi to Bormio to eat in the evening. It was all rather inconvenient and we felt very unattended.
