The location couldn’t be better, just a step away from the main ruins, which we could see from our window, exactly as per the picture. Super centric and it allows to see the soul of the city. The team was very hands on and supportive throughout, offering advice and tips. The breakfast was more than expected. They organised transport from cusco airport for us at a reasonable cost. We forgot a bracelet and one of the staff came all the way to the train station to give it to us a day after when passing through the station on our way back from Machu Picchu. Wonderful!
All was good.

Everything. The location and view is incredible. The staff and owner are the most accommodating hosts I’ve ever encountered. It was by far the best breakfast in Peru. They upgraded our room upon arrival allowed us to stay late due to our daughter being sick. It is the most authentic Peruvian hotel experience you will find . They even arranged transportation and laundry for us.

Mikhail and Ruth are the nicest and most helpful hosts you can ever have. We were stuck in Ollantaytambo due to the protest and road closures which affected all of Peru. Although we didn’t get to go to Machu Picchu, Mikhail gave us recommendations to local ruins we can walk to and local attractions. They extended our stay and served us delicious breakfast every morning. They kept us updated on news regarding the road closures. On our last day, he found someone to drive us back to Cusco and we were able to get to our plane on time before the roads were closed again. If you’re looking to stay somewhere in Ollantaytambo I highly recommend this place.
Pro tip: Download WhatsApp since everyone use it to communicate in Peru

location was good. the ladies working there were very nice.
it was by far the filthiest place I have every stayed. the room was disgusting and there was actually poo residue still in the toilet. I’m still having nightmares about staying there.

Our family (my husband and I and three kids) stayed at Eureka Lodge in July. We spent three days in Ollantaytambo to acclimate to the altitude. Having no specific agenda, staying at Eureka Lodge provided a nice opportunity to explore the city, to hike and to explore its surroundings, to enjoy amazing meals at many local restaurants and to shop.
The location of the hotel could not be better.
There was a slight issue with hot water where it would not stay continuously hot when used at the same time by other guests but with a bit of coordination, it did not cause much of a problem.

Eureka Lodge was an amazing place to stay right near the Ollantaytambo Sanctuary. The owners were amazing and helpful. The stone breakfast room filled with delishiousness was one of the highlights there. I appreciate the owner finding me a colectivo to go back to Cusco. Great value for the price. Very clean, safe and great location.
All good!

Very nice location, very nice staff. Close enough to Plaza de Armas, right next to the market and entrance to the Inca ruins. Also, we could down to the train station.
Good breakfast and we were lucky to be able to also try the special bread made only for the local "fiesta".
There was no problem leaving our bags here for two days.
Nothing we didn't like, really.

Cosy guest house, ran by the lovely Mikheil, one of the friendliest guys we met in Peru - great English and all round nice guy real helpful and knowledgeable local family! the room was humble but perfect for our stay and massive value for money. located near to the main Inca ruins and amongst the market stalls it made for a magical stay! only 5 mins to the main Plaza we felt perfectly placed! breakfast was good - even received breakfast to go with the early start for our Machu Picchu trip! would recommend for couples, groups and family’s - really nice vibes. thank you!!

We had an issue with our family member and we left the hotel with the manager, Mijal, telling us that he would take care of our refund. No issues. We have been in constant communication with him, as he continues to tell us that he will reimburse us, but after a month, he still has not followed through. He will send us messages saying he will take care of it immediately, been then will not respond, and again leaves us without our refund. We have asked him to keep his word and follow-through, but we are still waiting.
In addition to us needing to leave for the family issue, we had breakfast with our family and brought some personal food items to the downstairs dining area. We accidentally left two personal items on the table. We were the only guests and instead of bringing it to us, the staff kept it. Again, horrible management and service. No internet. Mijal told us that he would bring us an internet hotspot thumbdrive to compensate, but again, he did not follow through. Way overpriced for this poor service.

Eureka lodge is placed in a quiet little street right next to the archeological site. The staff is super friendly and speak good english. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom clean and it has hot water with lots of pressure. Even though our room was facing the street, there was no noise at night, only a quiet calm sound from a little stream. I recommend this place.

Love the location and convenience, rooms were well-equipped and beds SUPER comfortable. Staff was super super nice and the breakfast was seriously one of the best we’ve had in 11 months of global travel — fresh squeezed orange juice, eggs, fruit, cheese, avocado, coffee…
Wifi really didn’t work at all for us — not an issue this time because we were just here for a quick trip, but we do work remotely from the road so if you’re a digital nomad, this spot won’t work!

The staff were so kind and went the extra mile with every request, even helping us carry our bags to grab a tuk tuk to the train station. The location cannot be beat as it is 10meters from the entry of the Ollantaytambo ruins. The main plaza is just a minute or two walking down the road. Would absolutely recommend to anyone staying a night or two in Ollantaytambo!

My fiancée and I had an amazing experience in Eureka Lodge, which building foundations are actually built by the Incas and are perfectly shaped giant stones. The lodge itself is a family house of the staff, who were one of the most friendly and helpful people on our trip in Peru. They even offered help and advise when transferring our large suitcases to the PeruRail train.

2. Puma the kitten is super cute! 🥺
3. Part of the hotel is an old Incan wall with a gallery of artifacts!
4. It’s clean!
I loved all of it and I’m a pretty picky traveler, lol.
