Very nice ryokan, delicious dinner and breakfast, nice public bath, friendly staff.

Nothing, really.

A simple and well maintained ryokan. Room was simple. Staff was helpful despite being limited in English. Meals (Breakfast and dinner) were enjoyable. On the first night, we were served by a girl who appears to be a university student and probably was on the job recently. Not familiar with the layout of the food to be served and also the setting of the futon bed. Appreciate her willingness and courage to explain in English. Hotel was not full when we were there. Had use of the common bath entirely to ourselves. Location is in the centre of the three tourist places - the old town, the Kanazawa palace/ Kurokuen Garden and the market.

The staff were an absolute delight to deal with, they couldn't have been more helpful. The breakfast was good. The room had everything we needed in it.

The young female staff member really tried to be hospitable to us by speaking in English. We appreciate her efforts. They also took the trouble to draw up a cute picture of the dinner with English labels for us even though we were the only English speaking guests that night. This ryokan had a homely, humble and hospitable atmosphere. The dinner was served in the room. It was delicious and included many local dishes.

Very helpful, polite and attentive staff. Choice of Japanese or Western breakfast. Great location as all major attractions are within walking distance.

Solid 3 star accommodation but maybe slightly overpriced. Towels were on the thin and small side.
