Rooms are reasonably spacious for two. Don’t expect an ultra-modern setup, this is a monastery.
Wood floors creak a lot and it’s expected. Everything was clean, although somewhat “vintage”.
The site itself is EXCEPTIONAL. You get to experience Poblet without the tourists. Don’t miss the 9:00PM chants in the cathedral!
The restaurant offers a totally honest menu at a reasonable price.
The breakfast is VERY generous - don’t waste your time elsewhere.
Overall, a fantastic site and stay.
Bathrooms could get some love.

Stunning, historic and unique. The best place I’ve stayed while vacationing throughout Spain during the past seven years. I could not recommend this place enough to anyone planning a Spanish road trip. The staff were friendly and welcoming, particularly with our little dog. The ability to attend early morning mass in such a beautiful historic church isn’t something you would ever associate with a high quality professional hotel, but it happens here. I hope I can visit many times again.

Beautiful location, very quiet, convenient for Barcelona. The monastery is an interesting place to visit. Restaurant was good. Cafe was very nice. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The common areas are nice and well kept. Lots of very entertaining cats in the grounds.
Rooms are tired, they need updating and a deep clean. One room we had was very dark, no obvious place to put the lights on and 4 steps down almost immediately inside the door, quite dangerous. Sound insulation between the rooms was nonexistent and the beds were poor. Door to one of our rooms had a large gap at the top and the wooden floors in the hallway creaked and groaned whenever anyone went past.
