The lounge area was really nice. We had taken dinner and breakfast buffet options. There were a lot of options to choose from and food was really good. There was an all you can drink bar, which was awesome. We could cozy up with a drink by the fireplace and it was an experience in itself. We also enjoyed the arcade section. The staff were nice and friendly. And made us vegetarian dishes when requested.

The first floor was fancy and full of asthetic amenities, the floor with our room was old and torn. The room was basic, no view, the toilet was small, and bidet was not working. The outdoor hot spring was very very beautiful but not clean. Overall, Unfortunately, even though there was a lot to like, there was a lot to dislike too. All in all if i am spending sooo much money, i wish it could be a 10/10 experience

Everything! The food the comfortable room with an amazing view the large comfortable lounge the unlimited soft serve the unlimited Sapporo beer

I guess that there are coaches of people stopping here so restaurant and lounge could get very busy and noisy quickly

+ Staff were helpful and polite + Variety and quality of the food at buffet was really good. + Free flow of drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) as well as gelato and snacks. + Located opposite a mountain wiht great views of the forest and walking distance from the Daisetsuzan Sounkyo Kurodake Ropeway. + Ample parking space but requires a valet to get you to your car as parking lot is further away from hotel + Sizeable guest room

- Constant smell of smoke and cigarette smoke in the lobby and in the room. When we checked in the whole lobby was filled with smoke from the fireplace and it was terrible. - A lot of tourists and I just hate the way everyone was rushing to grab all of the crab legs at the buffet. It was a frenzied dining experience. i was expecting something more relaxed. - The open onsen on level 5 can be seen from our room's windows on the top floor. Not much privacy for the male guests using the outdoor onsen. - The women's changing room at the onsen on level 5 lacked drinking water and is not very well equipped.
