Hotel Emen

Wonderful boutique hotel just a few steps into the start of Old Town. A quieter location close to convenient parking. Beautifully-appointed, large room, super-comfortable bed, extremely clean and an incredible breakfast! Outstanding value and the best stay of our trip!

Hotel liegt direkt an der Hauptgeschäftsstraße (Fußgängerzone). Wir waren zunächst skeptisch, aber alles war vollkommen entspannt. Alle Mitarbeiter waren ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Pkw hatte einen Schaden, auch hier wurden wir freundlich unterstützt. Das leckere, etwas andere Frühstück ist mehr als umfangreich und kaum zu schaffen. Das hoteleigene Restaurant ist auch zu empfehlen. Parkplatz in unmittelbarer Nähe, kann nur bar mit Bosnischer Mark bezahlt werden. Auch hier hilft das Personal gerne. Die berühmte Brücke liegt etwa 500 Meter entfernt. Auf dem Weg dorthin liegen Cafés, Restaurants und Shops. Irgendwie besonders.

It’s in the centre of the old town so all the restaurants, shops etc are close by. It’s only a few hundred metre if that from the Stari Most. The room was modern and delightful. But the thing that stands out for me is the staff. Nothing was ever an issue. Helpful and good fun.

The location is excellent, right in the heart of Mostar and very close to the Old Town and the main sights. The staff were also very friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The room was generally clean, and overall the stay was okay.

At this price point, we expected more. The room was quite small and cramped, so it wasn’t particularly comfortable. Although the room was generally clean, ants kept appearing in the bathroom, and a couple of small insects came out from the gaps in the wooden platform around the bed. The main inconvenience was the hot water. Hot water ran out suddenly when i was showering. This may have been related to the water heater being set in Eco mode. If any quests see this: I’d recommend turning off the Eco mode so the boiler will seek to keep the water temperature at the set level all the time. Breakfast was fine, but much less impressive than we had expected from the photos and the price of the stay. None of these things individually made the stay particularly bad, but taken together, we simply didn’t feel that the room, facilities or breakfast justified the relatively high price.
