No water cooker in room.

The man at the front desk was VERY nice. The train from Ankara arrived VERY late and he was there waiting with a smile. I only stayed one night, but slept really well, had a fantastic hot shower and the breakfast was PHENOMENAL. Overall, I would book again if I ever return to Kars. Thank You.

Location is really very good, everything is nearby. Staff members are very lovely and friendly. Facilities are good enough. Breakfast is a open buffet.

The location was very nice. I honestly don't have any more positive things to say about this stay.

We stayed as a group of 8 (3 rooms) for 2 nights at this hotel. Upon arrival, we were given rooms that looked completely different from the pictures on the Booking website. Everything was older and worn-out. The rooms had layers of dust, horrible lighting and sheets that we washed but visibly stained. The bathroom of one of the rooms did not have a separate shower area, so water would spray everywhere (including the sink and the toilet). When we complained about this particular room to the reception people, they said "you booked an economy room, this is what you get". Mind you, all 3 rooms were economy, but only one was in this particular horrific situation. After refusing to take that room, they showed us another "cleaner room" for which we would have to pay an extra 400 tl. We checked it out and this one was literally the same. We rejected their offer. Overall, the rooms were not clean. Dusty, stained and a lot of broken/faulty furniture. I left a bad review for this hotel, and the morning after the reception person came to us and asked why we wrote a bar review and told us to delete it. The attitude was hilarious, instead of trying to fix the problem they bullied us for leaving a bad review. Breakfast was not good. All the jams and honeys had a sticky film on top (which shows they were left without a lid in the breakfast room the whole time). For hot drinks you tea and instant coffee, the warm buffet only included soup and boiled eggs with day-old french fries. No juice, only one kind of bread and just tomatoes and cucumbers as veggie options. I have to say, the staff were not nice to us. They really didn't do anything to make us feel a bit more comfortable even though they knew we were unsatisfied.
