La Casa E Il Mare, Private Bay Hotel

An exceptional and wonderfully relaxing stay. We were very kindly given a complimentary upgrade to a room with a beautiful ocean view, and the view from our private balcony was truly outstanding. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and accommodating. The whole atmosphere was incredibly relaxed, and genuinely nothing seemed to be a problem. Even when we asked for a cocktail after the bar had officially closed, it was prepared for us without hesitation. Breakfast was outstanding and served with an exceptionally beautiful view over the sea – a perfect start to the day. The private bay was another highlight, with parasols and loungers available free of charge and a lifeguard on duty, making it very easy to relax and enjoy the beautiful seaside setting. With its peaceful atmosphere and spectacular location, it is easy to see why the resort is such a beautiful choice for weddings and special occasions. We felt extremely well looked after and would definitely return. Highly recommended.

The beach is stony, but the water is easily accessible barefoot on the right side—clear guidance for guests would be helpful. Also, the lifeguard sometimes forgets to change the red flag after lunch, so it is best to ask about the current swimming conditions.

Beautiful seafront location fronting onto a private beach. Lovely to dine and relax with the sound and sights of the sea. Spacious pool and seating areas to relax in.

The room decor was a little rustic for some tastes.

super gepflegte kleinere anlage, mit tendenz zur überdekoration. alles da, liegen, pool, bewachter strand, super frühstück auf sehr schöner terrasse mit meerpanorama. das sehr schöne und lebendige mattinata ist (mit dem auto) sehr nahe und lohnt einen besuch.

zimmer und bad rel. klein, strand direkt vor dem hotel sehr schmal und wg. großer steine nicht wirklich ideal zum baden (geht aber gut etwas weiter südlich).

The location and view are great

Except reception staff, nobody seems to speak English in this hotel. Apart from that the building is not very well maintained. Breakfast selection is laughably small, although there is someone who will make you an omelet or pancakes on request, if they can understand you. The quality of those is also debateable. The bar is unable to complete the easiest of requests. They were not even able to make an old-fashioned or a pine colada. All in all the restaurant food the place and the experience does not match the pictures whatsoever. I would not stay here again and I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
