Island Hotel

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in the heart of the beautiful city of Nagano. The hotel was spotless, and our room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful. We didn't have many questions, but based on how welcoming they were, we're confident they would have gladly assisted us with anything we needed. Unfortunately, because we didn't have enough time during our visit to Nagano, we weren't able to use the hotel's hot spring bath, which was a real shame. One of the highlights of our stay was enjoying the stunning sunsets from our room, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The hotel is just a short walk from Nagano Station and is conveniently located near excellent restaurants and convenience stores. Attractions such as Zenkoji Temple are also within walking distance. We were 100% happy with our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nagano. We will definitely be back!

Nothing to improve

Good hotel room with enough space we could set up our blow up toddler bed. Friendly staff. A small selection of welcome drinks in the lobby including hot or cold tea.

Nothing really. It was a standard hotel room

Breakfast was good, location is just within a walking distance to the main station

Nothing

The hotel has an onsin which was nice after a long day of traveling

The hotel is seriously tired, the carpet is horrendous, and needs to be replaced in the guest rooms and corridors. It is not only old but dirty which is too bad because the rest is spotlessly clean. Other updates could be a real improvement, the single microwave on a TV stand outside the elevator is odd and looks horrible
