First of all, the host responded to booking.com messages almost instantly, and quickly checked us in and made us feel welcome upon arrival. Her approach was warm and friendly but also unobtrusive. She offered all and any kind of help including a trip for groceries with her car, and was available for us during the stay in case we needed anything. She also respected our privacy, and we felt very relaxed and at peace. They cleaned the apartment, and replaced the linen and towels regularly (I think every day), and this was done while we were away, exploring. There is much to like about the place, including it's very own beach, which is literally across the road, sea sunrises literally viewed from the bed, a beautiful landmark monument "Kaiser's bridge" on the beach, and the Austro Hungarian empress' garden and villa on the hill above, a tourist attraction in these parts. The apartment house itself is situated in a very green and picturesque hill, surrounded by deciduous trees and conifers all around. The cool air with scent of the forest and flowers mixes with the scent of the sea while you hear crickets at night. Pleasant and quiet nights far enough from the city noise and lights, yet close enough to the city (a 15 min bus ride).The bus station for both Corfu city, or Benitse and other southern locations is literally a few dozen meters away, each way. They have their own free parking. We would definitely come back if we get a chance.

There is nothing about the place to really c categorize as unlikeable. If there was a general store nearer to the house it would have been so convenient, but it's really the story of this area and not the Empress Corfu apartments per se, the stores are few and far between, there's one on every mile or so in each direction. We would usually go to either one of the big chain stores just outside city center and bring groceries as we go back from the city after our time there.

I had a wonderful time here,it is simply a beautiful place.The room was cleaned every single day, which was so nice.The views from the terrace are just incredible,and the property itself is very beautiful and well-maintained.It has everything you need for a comfortable stay.If you ever lack anything,have a question,or need a local recommendation,the lovely host,Marina,is always there to help you with a smile.There is a beach right in front of the apartments-you just cross the road and you’re there.If you,like me,prefer avoiding crowded beaches, this spot is perfect.It’s never crowded,and watching the sunrises and sunsets from there is pure magic.The location is also very convenient:a bus stop is just a 2-minute walk away.It takes only 6 minutes by bus to Benitses and about 25 minutes to Corfu Town.A small supermarket for your basic needs is within a 7-minute walk, or you can easily take a quick bus ride to Benitses, where you’ll find larger supermarkets with a wider selection.I am so incredibly happy with my holiday here.I honestly didn't want to leave because of how comfortable, peaceful, and welcomed I felt.I can highly recommend Empress Corfu! 😍🥹

Küche voll ausgestattet.(Pfannen,Töpfe,Spülmittel,Besteck u.s.w..Aussicht perfekt. Sauberer Strand.Betten top.Hygiene der Betten super.Handtuecher jeden 2 Tag neu.Duschgel und Shampoo vorhanden(kleine Gläschen)werden erneuert.2 Strandstühle( nicht Strand liegen!)vorhanden pro Zimmer.Blauer Stuhl erst getauscht nachdem der andere gemerkt wurde defekt(.Siehe Bild)

Sonnenschirm billigste Kategorie fliegt bei kleinem Windstoß weg da Steinstrand.Fliegengitter nur im Bad war defekt.(Wurde auf mein geheißen erst repariert)Im Schlafzimmer keines was wichtig wäre da es stimmt was manch andere schrieben Moskitos ohne Ende!!!!Klima bei unserem Zimmer keine richtige Funktion.1Letzter wichtiger Punkt keiner hat es bis jetzt erwähnt Die Besitzerin des Hotels hat 2kleine jedoch aggressiv bellende Hunde das geht sofort los wenn Radfahrer oder Fußgänger am Hotel vorbeigehen das kann nervig sein.Und die Straße vor dem Hotel wird als Rennstrecke der Mopedfahrer benutzt geht so bis 1.00 nachts .Beginnt gegen 6.00 morgens wieder .Es wird permanent hin und her gefahren mit Geschwindigkeiten bis zu 100 km,h.Das ist fürchterlich und wir sind von Griechenland einiges an Verkehrsrowdytum 1q gewohnt.
