From the moment of entering Hotel Heritage, it felt like a warm hug. We had come off long haul flights and were looking for somewhere to rest and recharge: Hotel Heritage was perfect. A beautiful hotel, built in 2010 but with artisan methods, made of reclaimed and antique materials from Nepal’s heritage, hence the name, it has all the comfort of somewhere built more recently but with the warmth and character of its contents. Rooms are spacious, very clean, comfortable beds, good toiletries etc, with sustainable methods woven into it all. Excellent food and wonderful team, made us feel ‘home from home’ for the 3 nights we were there, exactly what we needed. Complements to Prakas, Ram, Mudu, Anoushka, Anita and every staff member we met, all of whom were warm, professional and focused on what would make our stay better. Congratulations on a gem of Bhaktapur, we will be back.

There is nothing we didn’t like. Even in the rain, which we had for much of our stay, it’s still a great place to be based, and a short walk to the old city of Bhaktapur.

This is a stunning large property that tells a story. It is well located, staff are beyond helpful, excellent restaurant. We had a very comfortable stay overall

The air conditioner is our room was faulty. We raised this with staff who attempted to fix it without success. We ended up switching off air conditioner completely which was comfortable enough however I suspect it may be uncomfortable for some in the monsoon season

Ich war der einzige Solo Traveller, sonst ein Kommen und Gehen von Gruppen und Hochzeiten. Die Architektur ist mehr Bühnenbild als Heritage.
