Grassington Lodge

I liked the room and facilities and location.Breakfast Hamper and drinks and yoghurt in fridge were a bonus.

The car park is useful but can be difficult to get in and out off when it has a number of cars are already parked, especially in a larger vehicle.Though there is also some parking on road outside.

Cleanliness was excellent, location unrivalled, welcome breakfast hamper an adorable surprise.

Access and parking, understandable parking is at a premium in a small very popular village, but a sing to advise patrons to park correctly would help immensely.

Everything else! It is self check-in but it is easy. Location is perfect and has parking which is a huge bonus. Room was spacious and well equipped with everything you could need from an iron to a breakfast hamper. Absolutely recommend 👌

Some sort of curtain or blind at the bathroom window would be nice now that the nights are drawing in and you will soon need the light on when showering

The milk, juice and small snacks left in the room Location, being so close to the main centre of grassington Size of the room, nice and large

Communiction was poor. Not clear we had to access with a code on the door and that there was no staff present. Also not clear that keys with names would just be left for you to pick up in the lounge on the table, for anyone to see. Also although we booked 4 months earlier (two rooms booked at same time) we were told upon arrival that one of our rooms was not in the same building at all, and was across the car park and through some unlit walkways and shrubbery. The door was difficult to open there and this would have been a challenge to any elderly residents. Onb top of this, when we got over the surprise that we were not in the same building and that Grassington Lodge consisted of separate locations, the out of hours person on the end of the phone line wasn't very customer focussed. The tone and manner wasn't very helpful or appreciative of the concerns, though we accepted the situation as there was nothing that could be done. The room was loud, being next to the entrance so we heard comings and goings, plus our door was very loose, so it didn't open or close well. The room also smelled of animals - as it was a pet friendly place, I wonder if previous pets who had stayed in the room caused the beds to smell of dogs.
