Chengdu Joyhub Air Hotel

A great stop over after a long haul flight which landed in the early hours of the morning. Close to the airport and the hotel has a shuttle bus for pick up and drop off. Have stayed here several times.

We had an early morning flight from Chengdu (CTU) to Hong Kong, and the location of the Joyhub Air Hotel was perfect. It’s only about a 6-minute walk to Terminal 1. The hotel also offers a shuttle bus if needed, but for us, walking was quicker and more convenient. Breakfast starts at 5:30 a.m., which was ideal as we needed to check in for our flight at 6:00 a.m. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The hotel also has a restaurant, so we were able to have dinner there the night before without having to go elsewhere or into downtown Chengdu. Overall, a very convenient and comfortable hotel for an early morning flight from CTU.

It was surprising that none of the staff spoke English, which we would expect from a five-star hotel welcoming international guests. Fortunately, Google Translate helped us with our enquiries. The breakfast selection was quite limited but sufficient. Overall, we expected a higher level of quality and service from a five-star hotel. For these reasons, we rate the hotel 9 out of 10.

The room was excellent and the hotel has a free shuttle bus to take you to the airport which is 10mintes away.
