Absolutely fantastic stay in Lucca. Lucia and Maurizio are amazing hosts. They went above and beyond what was expected and are by far the best hosts we’ve ever had.
The apartment was very clean and charming. The patio area had a beautiful view of the Guinigi Tower, especially at night when it is illuminated. The main bedroom was perfect for my wife and I. The two bathrooms were very convenient.
The location is awesome. Very close to everything you’d like to do/see. Their restaurant and site recommendations were spot on.
Again, I can not stress enough how awesome Lucia and Maurizio are as hosts!

Lucia could not have been a better host! The home was immaculate! Everything was perfect and the home was very comfortable. We enjoyed our mornings and evenings sitting on the balcony with the amazing views. The home is set up with everything you could need. Lucia was always quick to respond and helpful with whatever you needed. We will be staying here on any and all return trips to Lucca.

The property projects the sense of history that is the essence of Lucca. In other words, it is really old with the original low and rough timber ceilings but it also has all the mod cons. The perfect mix!
To spend time in this apartment in the heart of Lucca is to become, as far as is possible on a visit, part of the community.

From day one we felt completely at home. The layout, the decor, the style and the view from the spacious balcony were exceptional. The host, Lucia provided continuous help and advice on places to see, places to eat and interesting activities. The warmth and generosity from Lucia and her husband Maurizio made us feel almost like locals. Their love of the history of Lucca was inspiring. We have already booked to return to this home away from home.

The apartment was beautifully appointed and charming. The host thought of everything that her guests would need to make it feel like home. I had room for visitors with two bedrooms and two full baths. We enjoyed the living and dining rooms and the work desk was perfect for me while working remotely. The view from the balcony was lovely and I enjoyed eating outside. I love Lucca and am eager to stay here again next year!

This was a cute apartment on the 4th floor in Lucca. It was very roomy and well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed sipping coffee on the balcony every morning. While we didn't prepare any dinners here, there was everything we would have needed. The apartment was spacious, yet cozy at the same time. The host was an excellent communicator and always available for questions and to make sure your stay was going well. The town of Lucca is such a charming place. I would highly recommend these accommodations!

Wem es nichts ausmacht, bis ins Dachgeschoss zu steigen (60 Stufen), den erwartet eine tolle große Ferienwohnung: geschmackvoll eingerichtet, super ausgestattet und liebevoll dekoriert. Vom Balkon hat man einen schönen Blick über die Dächer Luccas.
Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin, die zudem äußerst hilfsbereit war, funktionierte sehr gut! Herzlichen Dank, Lucia!

Estancia deliciosa
Muy recomendable. Lucia y Maurizio han sido encantadores, unos anfitriones atentos y cariñosos. El apartamento tiene una ubicaciòn excelente, muy bien equipado. Agradable terraza sobre los tejados de Lucca y vista a sus torres. Con bicicletas a nuestra disposiciòn.

Unfortunately we only had 3 nights in Lucca, a beautiful destination. We were met by our wonderful host Lucia who showed us the apartment and gave us suggestions for things to see and places to eat. The flat is fantastic - if the weather had been warmer it would have been great to have breakfast and a glass of wine in the evening on the terrace to enjoy the amazing view. As our stay was so short we decided not to use the well-equipped kitchen but to eat out. The apartment is perfectly situated for wandering around town and there are lots of cafés, restaurants and shops within a short walk. Don't forget to use the bikes and take a ride around the city walls. We will definitely return to this apartment for a longer stay in the spring time. Thanks again to Lucia for an unforgettable visit to Lucca. Looking forward to seeing you you again in spring.

This is a perfect appartement to visit Lucca. Very clean, cosy and very tastefully furbished. The appartement is fully equiped with everything necessary, and even more.
Outside is everything within walking distance. We felt very very comfortable. Many restaurants, bars and shops around for everyones taste. But the appartement is in a very quiet street so that one does not have a lot of noise at night.
Lucia and Maurizio are very friendly, sympathic and lovely hosts, which we can just recommend to everyone.

This is a perfect appartement to visit Lucca. Very clean, cosy and very tastefully furbished. The appartement is fully equiped with everything necessary, and even more.

As a travel agent myself, I can honestly say the owner of this apartment was the friendliest and most helpful person to deal with. She paid attention to the little details and even helped my clients book a local restaurant. My clients stayed for 3 nights in this apartment and they were impressed with both the property and the warm welcome from the host, Lucia. They loved the character of the apartment and particularly the terrace, enabling them to look out over the rooftops. They were so enamoured with the apartment that they even took a video to show me and told me not to hesitate to send other clients here. Fabulous apartment with a balcony
We loved our stay at this apartment. It is spacious, well stocked, and best of all, has a lovely little balcony where you can sit and have your coffee in the mornings. The location of the apartment is very convenient to anything you might want to do in Lucca and is well situated near some very good restaurants. And you can't get better or more accommodating hosts. In love with Lucca
We had an absolutely wonderful time in Lucca and Lucia and Maurizio's place is one of the main reasons. It is a delightful place from which to explore Lucca. We loved coming home each day to relax in the apartment. It is clean, comfortable, beautiful, and has such charming character. Everything you need is supplied, plus generous extras like the welcoming gift of a bottle of wine and biscotti.
Both Lucia and Maurizio are so warm and friendly. They are eager to do anything they can to make your stay and your experience of Lucca a positive one.
We hope to return and would for sure time our vacation for when this apartment is available, because we would not want to stay anywhere else!

Super apartment in Lucca
Just leaving Lucca after a wonderful long weekend in a great apartment in Lucca - very comfortable, well appointed, 2 good sized bedrooms each with its own ensuite. Lovely balcony with great views - perfect for breakfast, coffee and a pre dinner drink. Location is superb - quiet street but with several very good places for breakfast, lunch or dinner close by. Underground parking 5 minutes away. Lucia and Maurizio made us very welcome and were very helpful with ideas of what to do and making bookings. Bravissimo!

Perfect!
We loved our stay in Lucca! Being able to come home to this wonderful, cozy, clean apartment each day was fantastic. We were able to enjoy the beautiful view from the balcony while drinking vino and eating biscotti (provided by Maurizio & Lucia, grazie!) Bikes are provided for a nice ride around the wall of Lucca, so fun! Maurizio was kind enough to drive us to the bus station at the end of our stay-gracious hosts to say the least. We will surely stay here again on our next visit to Lucca. Grazie Maurizio and Lucia!

We loved our stay at Lucia and Maurizio’s apartment in Lucca; the apartment is in an amazing location, within the old city walls, so you can walk to everything - restaurants, piazzas, towers, churches, groceries. Abbiamo soggiornato durante Lucca Comics & Games, tra colleghi. L'appartamento è ampio e ben suddiviso, permettendo quindi sia spazi di condivisione che di privacy (molto utili e apprezzati i due bagni). La proprietà si è dimostrata gentile aiutandoci e rendendosi disponibile al telefono quando abbiamo avuto necessità. La posizione centrale ci ha permesso di visitare comodamente la città e muoverci facilmente sia durante il giorno per lavoro che la sera per ristoranti e locali.

Fantastic apartment and owners
This was the perfect apartment for our family of 5. Two very spacious bedrooms. One with a queen bed and the other with 3 twin beds. 2 bathrooms with showers and one had a bathtub. From the spacious living area you can see views of the city.
The location is perfect too. You are located within the walls and can easily walk to everything including restaurants and shops.
The owners were very nice and easy to work with. They even picked us up from the train station and dropped us off too. The owner had wine and cake for us. Awesome place.
We are now considering a move to Lucca in the near future.

Fantastic Apartment in the heart of beautiful Lucca
This is a truly great place to stop over if you're thinking about a stay in Lucca. Lucia, the owner is honestly like a friend who can't do enough to ensure your stay in successful.
Inside the apartment is very comfortable, tastefully decorated and with quality furnishings. The kitchen has everything you need including all the little necessities that so many places don't provide like tablets for the dish washer etc. There's great views over the roof tops from the balcony and many other delights. Outside in the street pleasure awaits with an abundance of quality little grocer shops, bakeries, cafes and restaurants. We made good use of the bikes provided to tour the city walls and everything else is a short walk away. If you don't believe how wonderful the whole experience is you'd better be quick because others like me will return. Thanks Lucia

Enjoy the Vista from the Terrace!
In a central location within the walls, this was a very good place to stay. It is an easy walk to the various squares and restaurants in town, but it's on a relatively quiet side street. Easy walking distance to grocery/wine shops, and there's a great gelato place across the street. The apartment is very spacious and well appointed. The terrace has a wonderful view of the city and is a lovely place to enjoy a glass of wine. The apartment is on the top floor of a five story building with no elevator, so there are a lot of steps to deal with going in and out. Maurizio was responsive during the booking process and Lucia was a great help in getting the apartment cleaned so that we could check in a little early. A good value.

"This was a delightful, well-appointed apartment on the top floor of a characterful old building, with a balcony affording a beautiful view over the rooftops of Lucca to the hills beyond. There was a very well equipped kitchen and a spacious sitting room and dining room. The air-conditioning was very welcome and a cooling breeze blew through the apartment when we opened the windows. It was the ideal location for our family and would also be perfect for a romantic break."

"This is a very superior appartment. It was clean, spacious, extremely well equipped and well decorated. There was a super view from the balcony across the city roofs. The location - near to Anfiteatro Romano - was excellent for exploring the city. The bus and train stations were each about a 15 min walk and so exploring the surounding area was easy too. Maurizio and Lucia were very helfpul in arranging our transport on arrival and departure. We really enjoyed our stay there."

"The apartment was very clean and more accommodating and comfortable than we expected. The owner was very friendly and helpful too, always available with help at the end of the phone. The only complaint I have is that the advert states that there is Cable TV but in reality the card is missing from the machine so unless you can take your own there is very little access to TV - particularly annoying with non-Italian speaking children on rainy afternoons. Great location, great view. I highly recommend it."
