Great space variety of single and double beds ideal for large numbers and families. Excellent amenities and facilities. The surrounding area including walks, pubs and restaurants is excellent.

No downstairs toilet...being disabled and using crutches made it difficult ..

Gorgeous setting - so peaceful. Amazingly comfy beds and gorgeous character bedrooms. Oooodles of space too! We were 7 adults, 6 children and a dog - at no point were we sat on top of one another. Kitchen had everything we needed, huge dining table was perfect for our group and the lounge was lovely in the evening with the fire roaring. The enclosed garden is also great for the children (and dog!) Location wise, it worked really well for us - with people coming from the South and North of England as well as the West Coast of Wales. We'd choose to stay here again for our next get together.

Tiny point... a few pictures on the dining room or lounge walls would have really added to a homely feel. In such large spaces, the walls looked a little empty. Also, being an older and character property, do take care with the original stone and tiled floors on the ground floor if you have little ones running about - we had a few bumps on our first evening there! It's just common sense though.
