The staff was really nice and helpful and knowledgeable about the place. The bed was comfy. It was quiet, easy to sleep at night. The curtain helps a lot with privacy. The shower was well equipped and gave you a luxury feeling.
To be fair, the location is at the city center for shopping but anything you want to visit for attractions have to go up a hill.

Right in the middle of Edinburgh with direct connections to a variety of places. The bedspace itself was cozy and clean. Easy to use the lockers, clear instructions. Staff very friendly. Kitchen had lots of items to use as well. Free tea and coffee.
The bathroom shower was stained and the bathroom space a bit unclean, even though I had access to the private bathroom at the top. No storage of luggage after checkout. It was cozy and clean enough but for that price (especially if you consider it to be a Hostel) a tad bit too expensive. But we‘re in Scotland so everything is super expensive anyway.

Sehr zentral gelegen, optimal um die Stadt zu erkunden. Bett war bequem. Außerdem wurde ein kostenloses Handtuch zur Verfügung gestellt. Personal super hilfsbereit als es zu Verwechselungen bei der Bettenbelegung kam.
Bad (eine Toilette/zwei Duschen) etwas klein für 10 Personen. 6-er Frauen-Dorm ging zu einer Hinterhofstrasse raus, wobei die Müllabfuhr und die Anlieferung für einen Pub früh am Morgen sehr laut waren.

Good location, comfortable capsule in the room gave me some privacy.
No hot water in the shower, no hot water in the tap! Only cold, very cold water so no possibility to wash my hair, to take a shower!!!! Absence of administrator, absence of any staff around 9 a.m in the hostel - so nobody to ask to fix that!!!!
