Riverview Country Inn is a 1-star accommodation with a 5-star bed - the best I've ever slept on. The restaurant has a variety of dishes to choose from. I have stayed here 4 times, and every meal has been delicious. The prices are very reasonable. The staff welcome you like family. They are friendly, efficient and make a person feel at home from the moment of arrival. This might not be a holiday resort, but as a stopover, it is perfect. I highly recommend it.
The weather is cold and windy. However, there are heaters in the rooms and electric blankets.

A perfect "on the road" stop for my trip from Johannesburg back to KZN. The Hare and Hound pub/restaurant is a huge bonus. Roaring fire in the cold SA winter and tasty SA food.
They have a tiny problem with water but they do warn you about this and one can take steps to avoid being caught unawares in the morning.

It was a lovely stayover stop from Johannesburg to Midlands.
Everybody was very friendly and super helpfull. The bar and food was great.
Room nice and cosy with all you need, electric blanket and hot water :)

Easy stay over for an evening,
midway point for travel between Johannesburg and Durban.
Basically a turn off from national route and you there.
Value for money? it seemed to be a bit expensive for the average stay over as the room is smaller than the advertised 30m2 and slightly run down. Also not much luxuries at facility
