Bedroom was really nice and big with a nice big window and very good in general.

Breakfast - no western options, full Vietnamese buffet only. The gym is appalling and cannot be called a gym.

It was a walking distance to central and the beach.

Affordable price in a nice location

You get what you pay for, I guess. 1. Our room had a bathtub with a curtain rod, but there was no curtain. No matter how hard we tried, the bathroom became a pond after every shower. I think the water was coming from the wall side. It was honestly a disaster trying to use the bathroom. 2. The TV had sound but no picture. 3. The kettle wasn’t working. 4. The phone to contact reception didn’t even have a dial tone. 5. The room had very bad lighting, as mentioned in other reviews. 6. All the plugs were broken, which made it really difficult to charge or use anything. 7. They have a lot of rooms but only a few tables in the breakfast area, so people had to wait for a table. Most of the breakfast was Asian food, and for people like us who don’t eat rice or noodles, there was basically nothing to eat. They even had brewed coffee sitting in the fridge instead of keeping it hot, so we couldn’t even have a proper hot coffee. It would make much more sense to replace the big tables with smaller two-person tables so more people could sit without having to wait for someone to leave. Last but not least, when we checked in, we were told that everything on the counter was complimentary and that the items in the minibar were charged. We’ve stayed in around 15 hotels in Vietnam, so we knew that. When we checked out, we were charged and were told that only the water and tea were free. I told the receptionist that it was only a couple of dollars, but scamming the guests can really hurt the hotel’s reputation.
