The apartment is very functional and stylishly appointed. We were personally greeted by the owner Mauro, who went out of his way to make us comfortable, arranged for parking and gave us the quick visitor's introduction to the "things to do" in his beloved Napoli. A really lovely apartment that is within the historical centre of Naples. Apartment was spotless and well equipped w most of everything you would need including tea and coffee. Mauro was delightful, very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

L'appartamento è modernissimo e pulitissimo. Non c'era soltanto lo stretto necessario, ma molto di più. Molta biancheria . Il propritario molto gentile e raggiungibile. Eccellente posizione, vicinissimo al centro storico.

We had a great two nights in Naples at Mauro's apartment. Everything inside looks brand new, and was in great condition. The washer was nice to have, and the parking garage was right down the street. We would definitely stay here again.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans l'appartement de Mauro, celui-ci est spacieux, bien agencé et bien décoré. En plus, il est vraiment bien situé : nous avons tout fait soit à pied soit en transports qui sont tout près de l'immeuble. On a également été très bien accueillis (avec des babas au rhum) et aidés du début à la fin de notre séjour. Je recommande vivement !

Très bon accueil et très arrangeant pour les dépôts de valises . Nous donne toutes les indications sur les visites à faire ,adresse de bons restos . Nous accueille avec des babas au rhum et une carte pass pour Naples ! Il y a les aliments de base pour le petit déjeuner . The apartment is in the heart of the historic section of Naples. Mauro and his father were very nice and helpful. The apartment is in new condition and had everything we needed. Five stars for this apartment!

We stayed for six days in this excellent apartment, situated as promised in the historical center of Naples, on the (European) second floor. It is clean, modern, well-kept and larger than appears in the accurate pictures; facing a side-street makes it quiet. A quirky, coin-op elevator requires 10 euro cents per ride, useful for luggage; otherwise take two flights of stone stairs. We were greeted by Mauro's father who gave us delicious rum babbas! The place is recently renovated with good appliances in a functional kitchen and a four-fixture bathroom (good rain and handheld shower with hot water). Usual mixed assortment of kitchenware, but surprisingly good (and sharp!) kitchen knives. The washing machine takes about three hours for a full cycle, but works well. There is a drying rack, iron, and board but we used a brand new laundromat two blocks away (Expresswash on Via Donnalbina -- open 7:30 - 22; wash 9 kg 4euros; 1 euro dry for 10 minutes); took our wet laundry there, and it was dry in 30 minutes. The kitchen could use a salad bowl and forks, mixing bowls, a larger cutting board, and more microwave dishes. There were lots of dishtowels and hot pads. We never used the oven. The bedroom has an adjoining huge, fully-fitted walk-in closet space. The terry-cloth robes were great! (BYO slippers and bar soap unless you like liquid soap.) Bath amenities included extra TP, shampoo, tissues, and facial cleanser. The Murphy bed in the dining area can sleep two if pulled down after moving the dining table, but we did not need it. Owner Mauro is responsive, attentive, and helpful. Wifi and lighting are very good. Other items included an umbrella, TV, dishwasher pellets, laundry soap, some coffees and teas, and shopping bags. An "instruction" book would be quite useful as we had to ask about garbage collection, which we never understood. The location is superb for anyone wanting to explore central Naples, allowing walking in any direction to important sites, bus stops, or the train to Herculaneum. There is a small but adequate supermarket a block away as well as innumerable smaller shops scattered in the area. A larger Conad market is on Via Roberto Brocco. We think this is a real gem (as close to a 5 as one can get), and would gladly stay here again. Other notes: we took the Alibus from the airport to the port and walked about 15 minutes to the apartment with our roller boards. We used the local bus to get to Capodimonte.

Nous avons séjourné du 16 au 22 /09/18 chez Mauro ,accueil très chaleureux ,et cerise sur la gâteau( si j'ose dire) ,un magnifique Baba au Rhum et délicieux, nous été offert ! Mauro est vraiment aux petits soins pour ces locataires.L'appartement est très beau avec de belles prestations.Je le recommande,et bien situé. G mettaye

Meublé avec goût, bien équipé et très propre, cet appartement a rendu nos vacances napolitaines d'autant plus agréables. Giovanni et Mauro sont très attentionnés vis à vis de leurs hôtes et mettent tout en œuvre pour que l'on reparte enthousiastes de leur belle ville de Naples.

The outside appearance was a little worrisome to me at that hour, but the apartment was amazing! I wish I could live in it for a longer time! Mauro made me feel very much at home and safe. It is actually in a very fun neighborhood within walking distance of the best pizza place in Italy!! I would love to return sometime, and I highly recommend the host!

We had a couple of unpleasant experiences in the city itself so it was nice to return to such a nice place. Ask about the tourist tax before you visit. I was under the impression that I was paid in full however was asked for the tax in the form of cash at the end of the visit. This came as a surprise to me.

I just stumbled across Mauro's apartment while looking for a place to stay for 3 weeks this March/April. There must have been a little guardian angel on my shoulder! I arrived on a cool, wet day, to be met by the genuine warmth and concern of Mauro. His apartment is spotless, with ample linens, a comfortable bed and many supplies not usually found in rental places. Free, good quality WiFi was a bonus, as was the convenience of the location of this apartment. many of the places I wanted to visit were within walking distance, or an easy commute on the metro. I enjoyed shopping for fresh foods in the market in Pignasecca, an easy 10 minutes away, and cooking in the apartment. The oven in the apartment is better than mine at home! Mauro checked several times to ensure I was okay, and didn't need anything. All in all, this young man is striving to be an excellent host. I think he'll do very well. I would definitely recommend staying in this apartment, with Mauro as your landlord. I'm now in Rome, and miss Naples and the Spell of Mary already.

Superb. Excellent location, beautiful apartment, fantastically well equipped and the owner is the nicest and most helpful man you could wish to meet. We had a wonderful week here with our two children and we all enjoyed our stay so much. If I could give this place more than five stars, I would. Highly recommended.
