Villa Castoria

The room was spacious, and we liked the design. It was a very quiet spot and we had a lovely stay.

Actually I’d chosen this Villa after seeing a photo of the bath, but I was rather disappointed when I was told I wasn’t allowed to run a bath. Furthermore, I couldn’t switch to the rain shower (the knob wouldn’t turn).

Lovely property inside and out. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Convenient 10 minute or so walk to shopping, restaurants and the RER. A nice, interesting town with direct access to Paris for the win! The owner was very kind, helpful and accommodating. There is limited, secure parking on the property. We would stay here again.

Très bon petit déjeuner, préparé avec soin. Merci ! Maison très spacieuse. Jardin agréable. Place de parking ++

Host was very attentive Bed was very comfortable Nice and quiet Good Parking Close to metro Nice garden to sit in

This is the description on Booking.com:- Suite with Garden View 24 m² Garden view Inner courtyard view Bath Private bathroom Flat-screen TV Soundproofing Coffee machine Free Wi-Fi Size 24 m² 1 large double bed Comfy beds, 9.4 – Based on 130 reviews This suite features 1 bedroom, a seating area and 1 bathroom with a walk-in shower and a bath. The suite features a flat-screen TV, soundproof walls, a tea and coffee maker, a wardrobe as well as garden views. The unit has 1 bed. In your private bathroom: Bath Free toiletries Shower Toilet Towels Hairdryer Toilet paper Our Experience :- There were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room It was not a suite, but one large bedroom, no separate seating area and no comfortable seats anyway. There was one hard office chair, no other seating in a room large enough to have taken it. The bathroom had its sliding door wedged open with a metal strip on the floor so you couldn't be private The shower was very difficult to turn on and the switch for the side hoses was covered ,so you couldn't use them and then the cover fell off- We weren't allowed to use the bath Unfortunately the room was not ready when we arrived at 5 o'clock. After a long journey, I was anxious to use the toilet but couldn't as "all the other toilets are private". I had to wriggle for half an hour. When we got into the room there were layers of dust on most surfaces -however the bed was lovely and clean and comfortable. I think some of the description given by the host or booking.com may have got lost in translation
