Gabi and the rest of the staff made us feel so welcome from the very start and played with our little girl Margot throughout our stay. They also gave her some beach toys to play with and were able to help me book an expert massage when I hurt my back.
The location is excellent - close to the port but also on the less busy end of the beach. Paradise.

The hotel was beautiful, the staff were excellent and spoke perfect English, breakfast was lovely and so was the afternoon tea. Sitting in the hot tubs on the roof was very romantic!
The only negative thing I can say about this place is that the shower head was a bit rubbish but still functional

Everything…..but the people make a nice place into a special place and we loved our stay at Pousada Rubi because the people (and Wesley the cat!) made it special. The food is exceptional. Coffee and cake is a lovely touch. The location next to lovely bars and restaurants and walks with a fantastic view of the beach is just perfect. Beds are comfy, showers great, hot tub and sauna are a welcome treat. Everything is spotlessly and beautifully cared for.
Nothing. We had miserable weather and still loved it.
