I had a wonderful experience at The AC Marriott Penang. This is perfect hotel for a weekend getaway. Every staff member i encountered, from the check-in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Near (walking distance) to restaurants (eg: Nasi Kandar, Pasta Port etc..), local shops and marts. Thank you! Will recommend to my colleagues.

The family suite was simply marvelous with dining area, living area, an office area/room that also acts as a mini pantry with ironing board which also can be used as solat area. View was spectacular as it was sea facing with the 2nd Penang bridge. 20 mins to airport and with lots of shops around especially a 5 mins walk to kayu nasi kandar.

The fact that you have to take 2 different elevators to go to your unit but it was worth the hassle ☺️

A hotel with plenty of free private parking. Very convenient compared to high level parking in condo home stay. Location is good if you have a car as i don't like to stay at the crowded down town area. Staff servicing attitude is tip top. Hotel is newly revamped and room is clean.

I i opted for 2- bed room however the single bed offered is way too small. It's a single size instead of twin size like most hotels offer. I did not have a good sleep due to that. Another minus point is that One of the two working lift is malfunction and not taking me to my floor thus i have only the other lift to take. While this lift doesn't require any card validation which is a bit loose in terms of security.

I participated in the Penang Bridge International Marathon on 17 December 2023 and returned to the hotel at 10:10 am. Despite being in my running gear after the marathon, the hotel staff (Chinese lady), who was in charge at the restaurant's main entrance, graciously permitted me to have a quick breakfast. I would like to thank her for her kindness and hospitality. The rooms are generously large, with a diverse selection of breakfast options, and exceptionally comfortable beds. Marriott hotels are renowned for their commitment to quality and hospitality.

The twin bedrooms are adjoining spaces, and consequently, sounds from adjacent rooms can be heard.

Didn’t like the setting up of the room. Book 2 unit but was given at the different level and had to be unhappyly arque then can get at the same level for both units

The staff at the desk, particularly the trainee, were great. Breakfast was good. Bed was comfortable. Internet was good.

The hotel is situated in a residential area. Just out the main entrance is a tire store. Restaurants are Halal and for locals. No infrastructure for tourists.

Single bed is too small, quite noisy during the day due to renovation somewhere near my room at level 5, i can hear noise from the room next door (got connecting door)

I like the feeling and the decoration of my room. It looks nice and fresh. The cleanliness of the room also can be seen in the hotel room to. kudos to the team

However, the remaining space is too small for me to perform prayer inside the room with my wife. Another things about the toilet is the shower door is on top of the ledge thus some of the water leak to the outside floor
