Breakfast was very good! Hotel very central and close to restaurants.
View from our bedroom window was stunning.
Staff accommodated my request for an iron and even brought up an ironing board.
No lift so long upward walk to Super Deluxe double room at the top.
Did not really like having a basin in the main bedroom. Would prefer just in the bathroom. Coat hangers not easy to use due to security feature.
Windows outdated.

Car park chaos. You can pay per 24 hours, but if you go out, on return no space to park. Quite a money making scheme

Staff excellent and location. Compass the company that now owns it need to spend some money on decor and general facilities. No lift, not mentioned in advert. Access difficult due to different floor levels. Not a place for people with mobility problems. No mention of car parking charges!
We wouldn't stay there again due to the above. This hotel could be 'great' again!
