This is one of our favourite hotels in Paphos and it was even more amazing on this stay. We stayed in the royal suite and it was exceptional. It was like having a little apartment in the plushest hotel ever. We absolutely loved it.

we didn’t like the tree cutting going on above our heads, but we understand this has to be done. But one of the workers jumped into the pool fully clothed, in his grubby work clothes…. not really acceptable!

The staff was awesome (restaurants, bellbois, reception...). the pool is really fun and there are pool chairs where u can sit at the bar. the restaurants in the hotel are amazingly good. everything is clean and nice.. the view from the hotel's bar is awesome. next time in Cyprus we plan on staying at Elysium again for sure.

cocktails at the pool and at the bar are quite expensive, with prices ranging from 10 to 14 euro for a cocktail. it felt like you have to pay quite alot in order to enjoy a few cocktails. coffe and tea at the hotels bar was also expensive.

My partner and I came to this hotel for our anniversary and had a superb experience. For starters the hotel restaurants, particularly O'shin and Bacco were of the highest quality. Each dish was not only delicious but also a piece of art. We were thoroughly floored. The hotel too is fully equipped with a massive pool, decked out spa and a state of the art gym. Speaking of the spa, my partner suffered from back pain during the trip and not only did the hotel consistently bring ice up for him, but the spa was of significant help to him. We both were stunned by how great the massages were. I highly recommend the massages, the experience is otherworldly and by the end we were both in a trance. The room too had a large comfortable bed and the nicest hotel bathroom I've ever seen which included a very large tub.

The only reason I am not giving this ten stars is due to some minor things in the hotel that need some improving. First of all, the complimentary breakfast is not at the level of the other food in the hotel. While the omelet station was good, the other food was mainly reheated and simply not of the same caliber as the other hotel food. Moreover, I will note that the "side-sea" view is not worth it as we could only see the "side of the sea" and were mostly looking at a parking lot, which was slightly disappointing as I misread the room as "sea-side." Lastly, I will also add that we had a strange balcony that was unlike all the others. While it was very large, it was a bit dirty and the space was totally underused and we honestly would have preferred a normal one like our neighbors.
