Park Hotel San Michele

On arrival beautiful gardens and a swimming pool for relaxing. Plenty of chairs/tables to sit in sun or shaded area. The reception staff were lovely and welcoming and the same at checkout. Very good breakfast with plenty of quality food to choose from. Had a few drinks and a bite to eat on the terrace. Our waiter wasn't rude but other than taking the order not much acknowledgment. Not sure if he was just shy or unsure what he was doing.

Our room was very clean on the 4th floor but very dated especially the bathroom. The room was very sparse and lacked warmth and the furniture needs replaced. They need to upgrade the coffee in the room they provide as a cheap brand and tasteless.

Gute Lage, in 10 Minuten zu Fuß in die schöne Altstadt. Schöner Park mit Pool. Veranda für Frühstück und Abendessen mit Lounge Musik. Sehr sauber. Kostenlose Parkplätze.

Das Bad war klein und dunkel. Keine Ablageflächen. Die Dusche winzig, für Erwachsene nicht geeignet. Meistens sehr schleppende Bedienung abends seitens der Bar. Mittwochs findet der Markt direkt vorm Hotel statt.

Clean and pleasant hotel, although it is showing its age and would benefit from some updating. In my opinion, it feels more like a solid three-star than a four-star hotel. Good location and very friendly staff at the reception.

My main disappointment was the balcony. I specifically chose this room because the photos showed balcony with two chairs and a table. Unfortunately, it was a shared balcony and there were no chairs or table at all, so the room description/photos should be updated. The shower is quite small, but everything was clean and comfortable.

Good location with ample parking. Quiet and set in nice gardens. It’s a little dated but comfortable.

The first rooms we were given looked out to a brick wall which we could have tolerated for an overnight stay. However, we were staying five nights and chose this hotel because of its surrounding gardens, so we asked to be moved. They couldn’t immediately, but did the following day and the view was lovely. Unfortunately in one room the tv did not have any signal. The bathrooms were modern, however the shower cubicles were tiny! I’m average size but could not bend sufficient to wash my legs and feet and I cannot imagine how larger people could manage at all.
