The Havelock

Very central for Shanklin, beach and surrounding areas. Nice quiet location Very clean and decorated to a really good standard Owners Vicky and Paul really friendly and engaging and nothing too much trouble Lovely fresh cooked to order breakfasts

This is a very friendly small hotel close to the seafront in Shanklin and its attractions. There are good pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance for food in the evening. The rooms look to have been reasonably recently decorated and have everything you need. They are clean and well presented with good toiletries and towels. We stayed during the World Cup and the lounge/bar area provided a good communal area to watch the games in comfort and with good banter

Parking, whilst free was difficult whilst we were there although I was told it was normally easier. We needed to leave our car keys with the owner whilst there as there was an element of double parking and vehicles occassionally needed to be moved

The hotel is beautifully decorated, very clean and has all the facilities you need. Family run by a lovely couple who are extremely hospitable. Would definitely recommend.

Nothing

It was the perfect getaway. There was absolutely nothing to complain about ( Maybe the lack of a view) The owners were a delight. Chatty, accommodating, and always available. The breakfast waitress was efficient, chatty and polite. The room was spotless as was the entire hotel. There was absolutely.nothing to complain about. Would highly recommend !
