I really love the balconies here with the view towards the sea. The rooms are very clean, breakfast great and staff friendly and helpful - all this together will make me come back again.

The only thing that could be improved, is WiFi. In the second floor already loosing the signal a lot - basically without any chance to work on laptop normally.

I've had a truly great experience at Villa Elisabeth, it all went so smoothly starting from the time I booked my stay on booking.com till handing back the apartment keys. The owners and staff is very friendly and polite. The apartments are clean, spacious with a kitchen and a basic set of dishes and cutlery to serve and cook. The location is great as it is close to all the sightseeing and city centre, train and bus station are 15-minute walking distance, national park Jasmund and Baltic sea cost even less than 10 minutes on foot. Great Internet connection, I was able to watch movies and videos in the evening and the bed is very comfortable with many additional pillows which I personally really appreciate and have a soft spot for. I definitely recommend staying there when you plan to visit Sassnitz. Thank you for a pleasant stay and great experience!

Mr Grunau, the manager, is very friendly and cooperative.

When booking the apartment, it seemed like the breakfast was included as there was no option to pay for it. This isn't the case, it costs extra. Also the e-bikes are not free, as one might think. The rental charge is a steep 25 EUR per day. The apartment could have had some basic necessities like soap(!), dishwashing liquid, salt and pepper, oil, tea and coffee. That would make a more friendly impression.

The views from the balcony are stunning and the location is one of the best in Sassnitz: close to the historic old city, the port, great restaurants and hiking trails. We got an upgrade after arrival and stayed in Villa Lindenhof although we had booked “Elisabeth”. The breakfast was good for the money with very friendly service.

There were some imperfections: only basic and cheap kitchen equipment, no scissors, no container for sugar, no recycling containers, noisy plastic mattress covers under the bed sheets like in the cheapest American Motels. The fridge was only partly functional (no way to store any bottles upright as the lower door tray was broken off) and the cover of the fridge door was missing. There wasn’t even an attempt by the owners to fix this after reporting it. There was also no manual for the electric stove and it took a phone call to the owner to show us how to operate it. There is neither a city map nor any information about the city and region available. These are readily available at the tourist office. The wifi password was difficult to find among a huge list of networks which weren’t available in our room. Some stairs to the roof terrasse lack hand rails and are somewhat scary, even if not handicapped (We are experienced hikers). Changing towels and getting toilet paper was a bit of a hassle. Curtains to block out some light on the morning would be a good addition as would be cushions for the outdoor furniture and some place mats.

The view was absolutely amazing. The location was actually the best, around the corner from the cost, about 10 minutes walk from the train station, and also a few minutes from the forest in case someone like hiking.

Nothing really. I could only mention a low-quality knife that broke while cutting veggies. Other than that, nothing was wrong. The hosts were really nice and spoke very good English which is extremely valuable for any foreigner.

Great location, friendly staff. The appartment was quite neat though it could use some renovation.

Furnishing and kitchen utilities were pretty basic. For the rest all was fine, location was great with sea view and everything at walking distance. Breakfast was also basic, though for this price one can't complain. Wifi did not function well in the beginning but after we told the staff it was fixed.

However, the sea view was compromised so not very beneficial to us. But, owner is super nice and even couriered our Chromecast that we had accidentally left in the room.

The toileteries were missing. Also, the room wasn't cleaned during entire stay. Even an alternate day room cleaning would be good.
