Sally was lovely.

Heater didn't work. Some lights didn't work.

Location is in the heart of Geelong. Very close to the hospital just up the hill and the best meal in Geelong at the Charles Sturt hotel.

Room was smelly and carpet very old and dirty. Booked and paid for a bay view but got the carpark view.

Cleaner was manning reception. My booking didn’t exist. The smells from the restaurant below were in the room. The heating was very poor. 2 hours later after having the heater on 31 we were still cold.

The check in prices was awkward and embarrassing with the desk person referring to a paper of names and after repressing my name several times gave to look it up myself . the TV stations were hit and miss if they worked or not. aesthetic is really outdated .

My Son and his mate stayed due to the Ironman event and said they thoroughly enjoyed the stay. My son mentioned he did not checkout until after the event which is amazing they were able to do so and greatly appreciated. Also they were able to leave the car at the property all day whilst competing. Prior to the event the property were in touch with us to ensure everything was ok with the booking and provided an very friendly and caring experience. Outstanding customer service which you don't see enough off and is greatly appreciated
