Sunrise Village Hotel Apartments

We stayed at Sunrise Village for our wedding week, and brought our whole family and friends with us- approximately 30 people. The staff here are just beautiful! We were welcomed with a floral arrangement, a bottle of Prosecco and a beautiful towel arrangement on the bed to welcome us- what a beautiful way to start our wedding week! The staff were fantastic with our guests, allowing them to check out later than usual at the end and attending to any and every request we had. Nothing was too much trouble! The rooms are gorgeous and the pool was a real highlight, because we'd often meet around there on the warmer days to hang out. Everyone absolutely loved their stay! On the day of our wedding, some of the staff and other guests came out to clap when I emerged as a bride, giving me their best wishes. It felt like the Mamma Mia movie! When we returned, we found a beautiful note and another bottle of Prosecco. I will also add that I married a woman, but no one at the hotel (nor on the island) seemed to care about this. It was truly magical, and I'm so lucky we all got to stay at such an incredible hotel. I can't wait to return on our anniversary!!

The room itself is nicely furnished and comfortable.

We booked a Deluxe Suite with Direct Sea View because the hotel description explicitly states that these suites are “at the front of the hotel” and offer a direct sea view. Based on the description and the photos, we expected to enjoy a beautiful, unobstructed view of the sea from our balcony. This was the main reason we chose this accommodation, and we were really looking forward to relaxing on the terrace with the promised view. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed when we were assigned Room 101. This room is neither at the front of the hotel nor does it have a direct sea view, as it is on the side of the building with only partial sea view. Even worse, when sitting on the terrace, all we could see was concrete of the terrace. This was very disappointing and did not match the room description or our expectations. We raised this issue several times with the reception staff, but despite our repeated complaints, they were unwilling to address the problem or offer a satisfactory solution. That was very frustrating. However, the sea view was the main selling point of this suite, and unfortunately, it did not correspond to what was advertised. We feel misled by the description and left the hotel disappointed.
