Mizno Hotel

The hotel is located in a hill where you can see the whole town. The bedroom is amazing and we chose one that has a balcony with a beautiful view to the lake Kawaguchi and Mt Fuji. Also, the bedroom has a really good size and very comfortable. Staff was also very sweet and helpful.

Great location had a room facing Fujisan. Onsen was a plus. Would return here

When we checked ( a bit later ) as we explored near lake Kawaguchiko during the day there was no availabilities at their restaurant for dinner

The room has a view of Mt. Fuji, if it is a clear day. The first day, was cloudy and we didn't see it, but the next day was beautiful and we had a very nice view. The staff and service were outstanding. Everyone is very friendly and provided excellent service. We also enjoyed the free electric assist bicycles. On the sunny day we had, we took a ride around the Lake and it was great to have the electric assist. It's about 12 miles around the lake. We had all our meals at the restaurant, the food was plenty and of good quality for a fair price. They also accommodated one member of our party that has a severe shellfish allergy. We also enjoyed the private onsen on the roof deck. There are lots of seating areas with great view of Mt. Fuji.

The lobby area furniture and general decor is a little eclectic, a mix of European and Japanese. Some of the furniture is dated. I think the hotel caters more to international travellers, we didn't see many locals. The service and food were good in the restaurant, but there are only two choices for breakfast and dinner. The breakfast is a western breakfast.

The hotel was fine but the dining facilities were limited even for paying guests!!!
