Pensión Zacatin

The staff was rather friendly and there were no complications in regards to communication. We got the key for the room in another building 3 min away by walking (was indicated beforehand) and got detailed instructions on how to enter the building etc. The room was small and bare, with only a bed, closet, sink and a small table but it had all the essentials, including A/C and the shared bathroom was also pretty clean. Overall, for this cheap, it is good quality and if you're only staying one night it's fine.

There was a small lamp, which we had to place on the floor because there was no power outlet near the bedside-table.

Das Zimmer war hell, sauber, sehr freundlich und ansprechend eingerichtet, sehr ruhig bei gleichzeitig sehr zentraler Lage, sehr freundliches Personal.

Die Unterkunft war sehr gut, ich kann keine Mängel benennen.

The location was superb. Its close to tourist spots, food and bus services

1. The shower is flooded but can use the other shower. 2. The room has no window- feels claustrophobic. Wonder how it will be in summer

Cool location, friendly check in lady. Comfortable bed. The room itself was clean.

The building smelt like cigarette smoke, the bathroom had no ventilation so got very hot and the shower didn’t drain efficiently. You have to check in & collect the key at their other location, which isn’t too far away, but when navigating the busy tourist streets with luggage, in 40 degree Celsius summer heat it’s not so simple. It doesn’t make sense to have to check in at another location. There was a reception desk at the location we were sleeping in, but never anyone working there to help and no one to check in or out with.
