All was well. Good particularly good. Soa good. Grounds good.

The property is beautifully restored
The walls are paper thin so you can hear everyone talking in the hallway and in the rooms next door. The cleaner was vacuuming outside our room door in the hallway at 7:30am which was very loud and woke us up. This was not great considering the cost of the accommodation.

The gardens were absolutely exquisite!! We were so thrilled to see the best of the spring gardens.
The rooms were lovely however there was not enough storage for clothes. Only an open clothes rack. We were spending 5 days and 4 nights.

Food and service
Not clean, hair in shower on arrival to room, paint peeling off walls, drab and dim decor, weeds all over gardens, horse poo on the paths around garden, tennis courts covered in mould and moss and unplayable, beds extremely uncomfortable, cocktails incorrectly made and bar staff blamed me as customer instead of taking accountability
