Short walk along fairly busy road into Ormos or Kampos to supermarkets and tavernas. Great big balcony with sea and mountain views.

Self catering and the kitchen equipment/ cooking facilities were a little on the basic side. Noisy road nearby so had to sleep with doors and windows closed with aircon. Aircon unit extremely noisy during the night (informed manager).

Was wonderful but beds and pillows SO uncomfortable. If that was better I’d come again and again!

Very spacious room, nice view. Beautiful little beach nearby. Close to nice town Ormos.

The service and the hospitality was not great. She wanted us to pay extra because of or arrival in the evening. We pay for the whole day so it’s weird to pay extra if your flight is in the evening. We never saw her in the two weeks we have been there, she never asked us if everything was ok or if we need something. And when we checked out the reception was closed and we couldn’t find her so we left our key in the room and left. We think it’s kind and normal to say goodbye to your guests and ask how your stay was.. the appartment was great, the view, it was clean etc but no personal attention what so ever and we think that’s an important part of booking a small accomodation and not via a big hotel.

Thalina Apartments is situated on a beautiful location, on a small hill between the beach-area Votsalakia and the harbour Ormos Marathokambos of Samos. From The location both Votsalakia and Ormos are easy accessible on walking-distance. Both with lots of tavernas, supermarkets and shops. From the apartment-balcony you have a stunning view over the bay of Votsalakia and on the Kerkis mountain! With a sunset in the evening. The apartment is very well furnished in one-style, kept very clean, with clean bedsheets and towels every three days. As guests we als got from the very nice owners free eggs from their own chickens, marmelade and fresh figs. We had a one-room apartment with a seperate bathroom, very clean and nicely finished. The kitchen in the apartment was completely equiped and modern, including a new refrigerator and grill-oven. Thalina has also bigger two room-apartments with a seperate bedroom. But the one-room apartment no. 204 which we had was big enough. The son and daughter-in-law of the owners run the nice restaurant Chrisopetro very near the apartment. The good restaurant is situated on a great rock overlooking the sea. And they also manage the small Tripidi-beach very near the apartment. Thalina has no own swimmingpool, but next to Thalina is Panorama Apartments, which has a poolbar with a nice swimmingpool which can be used, of course when you order something to drink or to eat from the poolbar.

Excellent view, close to beautiful beaches. Very clean and well equipped. Very kind and very helpful staff. We arrived in Samos island very early in the morning and they gave us the room immediately to rest and prepare for our first day of vacations. Thank you very much for the wonderful time!
