The staff were really lovely and helpful with everything we needed.
It was a great location and great value.
Rooms are a bit small and quite dark. The pool isn't really useable but there is a great upstairs terrace.

Saîd the manager was so welcoming and accommodating, such a pleasure!
We had an amazing stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time at Dar Beija- the place was quiet but perfect and a great location right next to Bahia Palace. they also have a partner restaurant (same owner) called KosyBar which was beautiful and the food and drinks there were exceptional (one of few places serving alcohol on their terrace. We had an amazing stay and Saîd even came in early so we could have breakfast on our last morning and sorted our taxi ride to the airport at 7.45am!
would highly recommend!!

Even before I arrived Dar Beija made me feel at home. in advance of my flight, Said from Beija contacted me via WhatsApp to arrange for pickup at the airport. From there it was a wonderful week, with delicious breakfast and kind staff. the riad is perfectly located and easy to find when you’ve been wandering the busy Medina all day, and my room was comfortable, spotless, and exactly as described. I had a relaxing time and would absolutely return again. I do recommend going over to Kozybar, the affiliated restaurant a short walk from dar Beija to have a meal, or watch the sunset with a cocktail.
I have no negative reviews!

Fantastic Riad with nice people. Najia gave us a warm welcome and is always caring and friendly to us. Karim is also very attentive. He made us breakfast early when we had a day tour next day, he also took us to where our taxi was waiting to go to the airport on our last day. The manager Said helps get our boarding pass printed. We are very thankful for all stuff. We really enjoyed our stay at Dar Beija. Highly recommended!

The elderly lady was delightful and the manager who owns a restaurant was well spoken&pleasant.
Unfortunately my friend and I had a terrible experience with a young man, age 30 who worked there [nightshift] he didn’t speak English so we had to communicate via google translate.
On the last evening at around 19:00 upon my return, he pulled me over and sat me down on the couch to explain the “evening taxes” while his hand kept sliding down to my lower body.
He then started asking me personal questions e.g. my age and my marital status.
After writing on a piece of paper how much taxes my friend and I had to pay, he left the conversation to greet his boss.
At 22:05 while we were sleeping, we heard a loud rapping on the door and a man yelling “sister” and my name. This went on for 10min.
After 10min of rest, he started again and moved onto knocking on the wooden window-flaps.
We were eventually woken up and had to confront him. He asked when we’d pay the taxes [I already booked and gave notice we’d check out tomorrow morning].
After reassuring him we’d pay the next day, he finally left us in peace.

The location of the riad is perfect for families. It isn't far to the El Badi Palace, the Bahia Palace, the Souk and the oldest Jewish Synagogue is just next door.
We loved the atmosphere and our kids loved the beautiful little pool in the courtyard!
The hosts are very welcoming and very friendly!

First day I arrived in Marakesh i had another riad but because its my first time here and driver didint speak English. He miss interpreted when i was trying to tell him about my booking and he brought me here because i told him my booking was near this riad while trying to explen him about my other riad so the taxi driver took me here took my money for wrong location and run away from the main street I only realised when the staff from Darj Beija took me inside the hotel and i seen the actual name of the place because there is no sign or name on the building. I had to walk outside to look for another taxi to take me to my other hotel And i have been verbally aggresed by this hotel neighbours because i woudent give them any money or buy hasis from them the street was unsafe and fill with human feces
Second day I checked in. My wife came and visited my room to discus but when she tried to leave she was asked for passport information and we refused because she already is checked in in nearby hotel with her work company but they were fully booked so this is the reason I booked this hotel because its 3 minutes away
Second day i requested early breakfast but i only received bread and oil and coffe. It was disappointing because i couldn’t communicate with the staff as they speak only arabic . And ive staid like this during the whole stay with all these issues like Breakfast Broken AC. Missing hair dryer and no information at all. Overall. Unwelcoming.
Last day Me and my wife came to reception coming from hamam and on our way to her hotel we decided to stop by to Dar Beja (my hotel) to Pay for may City tax . My wife was verbally abused by the staff to present her passport at the entrance while i was trying to pay my tax the staff handaled my wife and kickd her outside the door and locked the door by herself on the small dark alley at 10 pm because she wouldn’t disclose her passport informati while we were just trying to pay a tax at the reception
English speaking staff.
No human feces in front of the hotel and on the alley
Better value for maney at breakfast
No microwave reheated coffe from 3 days ago
Working and serviced AC
No missing utilities like it’s advertised
Hair dryer cleaness. Etc etc

I absolutely loved Dar Beija! They welcomed and took care of me like family member. The whole riad is beautiful and really clean. Location is in small and safe street close to everything. Every morning I enjoyed the Moroccan homemade breakfast. I hope to stay here again!

Amazing property in a great location!
There was a misunderstanding about a taxi I didn’t book through the hotel- I did book a taxi to take me from the airport to the property through Booking.com but apparently the one that picked me up was from the Riad.
I feel like the misunderstanding could have been handle in a different way as the lady I talked to keep saying “you don’t understand”and “you need to pay”felt a bit rude to be honest and she asked for bank statements to prove that I paid for my taxi.

The property is even more beautiful than in pictures.
The hospitality is beyond expectations.
One night we've been left out of the property for almost an hour as no one was in.

Immaculate, cozy, and gorgeous! Heat, abundant hot water, and attentive staff made our stay incredibly comfortable. We were greeted on the street and taken to the riad after securing safe parking. Our room was thoughtfully decorated with rose petals and a huge bouquet of roses. They even made us a simple dinner because we arrived right at curfew time during the pandemic. The rooftop deck was beyond amazing, offering the highest views in the neighborhood.
The TV was in the shared saloon space downstairs and not in the room.
