Location was best.
Bathroom door was not closing properly, phone in the room was not working , kettle for heating water was not clean for making tea, washrooms were dirty.

This properly is well located within the heart of Chandigarh in its main Sector 17. It is a 2 min walk from Bus Stop which is on one of the main arterial roads of the city. Staff was coordial. It was clean and hygienic for most part. And at its price I would consider it a value for money stay. Next to the room there was a wonderful wide balcony with seating. And there is a nice (3rd party) cafe on the First Floor of the building.
Lift was not always functional. Stairs are not quite comfortable. This is a budget hotel so do not hold high expectations. Furniture and Wood work within the room was sub par.

This place is in a great location with plenty of facilities in the general area. The hotel is ‘India Clean’ and what you would expect for the price range. This place would be fantastic with a little maintenance, a clean mop, a scrubbing brush and a bit of elbow grease. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Room service takes a little longer than expected but does deliver. Despite all of that I liked staying here. The verandah is a nice touch and we enjoyed a cup of chai in the morning reading the free newspaper. I would recommend to the general backpacker set.
It wouldn’t take much effort to clean the place. Replace the odd blown light bulb and hey guys it’s time to upgrade the sheets and towels. They were clean but old.
