Aranwa Sarapiquí Rainforest Lodge

El hotel tiene un concepto increíble de armonía con la naturaleza y también un diseño de palenques precolombinos. Está en proceso y sus habitaciones se están remodelando, pero tienen lo necesario y un amplio espacio, así como una hermosa vista a todo lo verde que rodea todo el hotel. La piscina es cautivadora por la vista a toda lo natural. Se come muy bien con la fusión peruano-costarricense, Encuentros es un espacio gastronómico para probar y seguir haciéndolo. Los senderos y la vista de aves es muy linda. Tienen un lugar específico para avistamiento de aves en dónde se puede sentar cómodamente. El personal es increíble, tanto Daniel como Keyla lo hacen sentirse como en casa y lo chinean hasta con lo que no está en el menú. Gracias Keyla por todas las excelentes recomendaciones y consejos!.

Para nosotros todo fue genial, pero si hay que decir algo, diría que está en proceso aún. Las remodelaciones y las nuevas áreas se están configurando para unos 3 meses. No obstante lo pasamos increíble.

Location, pool, air conditioning

Rooms fairly basic. Nowhere to sit, nowhere to put anything in the bathroom with just a freestanding sink. Meals were average at best.

The lodge is set in beautiful surroundings, right next to a national park. It has a nice small pool to cool down in, and the common areas are attractive and well maintained.

Due to a misunderstanding, we checked out one day early. Unfortunately, nobody asked why we were leaving early or mentioned that our booking was for another night. When we later asked for a refund, they acknowledged that things had gone wrong, but a refund wasn't possible. In the end, we agreed on a complimentary dinner as compensation, but the way the whole situation was handled left us with a disappointing feeling.
