Comfortable apartment, neighbours are not loud, the best location in the center of Cesena. Tip top

The host was very kind and professional. She told me details about restaurants in Cesena and she called a taxi for me on the day of my departure. The bed was firm and comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need to cook dinner. Finally, the place is decorated with great style.

This was just ideal. I was working at the Malatestiana library and this is right in the centre (well a v short walk). The owner is absolutely charming and - as several reviewers have noted - the crostata is great. The flat was spacious and had many charms. It has a lived in feel about it and there is even a piano.

Slightly awkward shower but I got there in the end. There is really nothing wrong with this place at all. Of course if you want a boring, standardised hotel room then this is not necessarily for you.

The house is rather old, but it has that great Italian spirit. The area is very traditional as well. Even if part of the furniture is quite used and needs replacement, there are small touches of flowers and decoration on many places, making you smile and feel cared for. Everything was reasonably clean and a lot of small tools and pieces were available to make you feel like you visited your grandma. The location is very close to the town center by foot. There are quite a few parking spaces just around the corner and if you are a bit lucky, you will get one. Furthermore, they are free on weekends (but please double-check). Last, but not least by far, the host is a very charming lady. She even brought us a home made cake, which was so delicious and the kids loved it for the breakfast on the following morning.

There were two drawbacks: 1) the shower and bath definitely needed renovation and 2) it was very hot in the apartment, including during the night. True, there was an air-conditioning device, but it was unfortunately too loud to leave running while you sleep. We had to live with just all windows wide open.
