The kitchen was very well equipped. Had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was comfortable with fresh bedding. The location of the property was great, just a five minute walk into town, and just a little more to the harbour and beach.

The property does not look like it does in the photos. The garden is extremely overgrown. The garden space seen on the main photo is not dog friendly, so we felt the listing was a little miss leading if travelling with your pet. In general the property is run down and needs some general maintenance. As stated previously the bed linens, towels etc were all clean and smelt fresh, but the cleaning standards on the whole were poor. Dust and cobwebs were plain to see. We don't like to leave poor reviews, but unfortunately feel this property is not good value for money.

Need to have good reversing skills in the car park. Would imagine very difficult to park if hotel full of guests,as only access to property through hotel car park.No information about disposal of rubbish.No dishcloth/sponge/liquid.Only 1 toilet roll for a week.Chalet not a cottage

The cottage is clean comfortable spacious very well equipped and in a quiet location. The town centre is a few minutes walk from the property . The owners were very pleasant to deal with. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend

Superb location, just a short walk from the centre of Ilfracombe.

Car park is very tight, and occasionally had to reverse out on to the road.

Beds were comfy. Location good. Side lane slippy with leaves but quaint.

Phonecall the day after arriving home to be accused of taking an oven glove and t-towel and causing damage to a wardrobe!! Didn't like attitude at all as we didn't have those items there to start with, along with no hairdryer as advertised!! No contact from staff of how to get into property until the morning of departure, then told I must pay extra £60 for 2 dogs or be refused admission! I emailed several times about this and no reply. Terrible service before even leaving. Booking.coms fault or vendors? Unsure.

The parking could be better I would not like to be there when totally full but managed just the same
