Apartment Don Giuliano ticked all the boxes for a solo traveller in Lecce. First of all, the owner's support is excellent. Although I never actually met the owner, he sent clear instructions and checked in to make sure everything was ok. The "apartment" is a one room (with ensuite), ground floor place with an excellent location in the centro storico of Lecce and a short walk from the train station. It is in a quiet area. The apartment is beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. The pillows were soooo comfortable - I wished I could replace my pillows at home in NZ with these ones! I would definitely stay here again if I were lucky enough to be able to travel back to Lecce and I highly recommend this place to single or couple travellers.
