We booked this hotel because we had to work 2 days in the afternoon and in the night close to the hotel.
This hotel says on booking.com to have check out time at noon.
So in the morning at 9.30 am the cleaning lady just opens our door and walks in!!! And she said 'Oh, aren't you gone yet? Check out is at 10 am!'
So we answered 'Check out is at noon'
So she said 'No, at 10 am!'
So I wondered 'If Check out is indeed 10 am why does she enter our room WITHOUT knocking at 9.30 am?
So I go to the reception and I ask what is going on and they say 'The cleaning lady is wrong, checkout is 11 am...'
So the confusion was complete...
This hotel definitely should work on their communication to customers, their Check out times etc.
Moreover our colleague stayed in another room, and that room totally smelled of cigarette smoke.

At breakfast the staff member was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was good for a traveller, being just off the autobahn, but in a quiet residential street.
No staff on site on arrival, and the front door was locked. I phoned the number on the booking, but no one replied. Eventually a passer by pointed out a notice in German stuck on the inside of the front door with a phone number. On phoning that, I was given instructions on who to access a key safe to let myself in. I would have liked this information in advance.
