The apartment was lovely and clean and in a great location. Surprisingly quiet too. There was a laundry room with a second toilet and a proper, fully functioning shower which was useful, and there was plenty of hot water. We were provided with lots of fresh towels, and the bedding was clean and good quality. It was nice to stay in accommodation that wasn't typical of a holiday home - the décor and furnishings gave the place lots of character. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating - I made a special request for flowers and wine on arrival which was made available. We required use of the sofa bed and one of the double beds made into 2 singles, which was done soon after we arrived.

Although attractively furnished, the choice of furniture/furnishings could have been a bit more practical - e.g. more shelving/hangers to put away clothes etc. Better, cosier lighting would have made a big difference to the atmosphere too. The kitchen was overall very well equipped, but a few mugs, and a full set of matching glasses for the number of guests would have been useful. It was a bit chilly in the evenings, and it wasn't too clear how to use the heating (though to be fair we didn't try to find out). The apartment is advertised for up to 6 adults, but I think it would be a squash - especially if privacy were important.

The beds in the second bedroom were rock hard. The lounge room was really inadequate. A two seater couch is not enough for a 6 person apartment. Where is a group supposed to sit to watch the offered cable movies??The only place to congregate is around tables. Quality new mattresses and a large extra sofa, plus an umbrella on the roof terrace would make this place ideal.

Fantastic location Very central. Apartment was very authentic. handy having the 2 toilets. Beds super firm but apartment had everything you need for self catering and spacious. Host was very accomodating and helpful throughout our stay. We hope to return in summer.

Beds /pillows not the comfiest - very hard! But didn't stop us enjoying our stay.

Lovely apartment with big private terrace with dining table and also a private rooftop terrace with cathedral and ocean views. It was better than we expected! It is situated right at the main square of this lovely little town, and a cozy walk down to the beach. Many great restaurants within walking distance. We took the train from Palermo airport when arriving, and the host booked us a big and smooth taxi to the airport when departing for 100€. Very convenient! The master bedroom had a fan and an air conditioner.

Unfortunately it was a rain storm for most days on our vacation (first week of October). Meaning, we couldn’t use the outside spaces as much (when the sun was shining, being out on the terraces was pure heaven!). Being inside, we would have loved a coffee table for the sofa, and maybe some cozier lighting in the kitchen. The showerhandle in the small bathroom was broken, but the shower worked fine. These minor inconsistencies are the reason I won’t put 10 but a solid 9.

Amazing setting in the cathedral square, spacious outdoor area with two level terrace, the second up a spiral staircase with sea and cathedral views. Angela was so kind and welcoming and arranged to have the second bed made into a twin to be more comfortable for my daughter snd her friend.

Nothing at all

Location is perfect, many places to eat just outside the door and a few minutes walk to the fantastic beach. The roof terrace is great for a cozy aperitivo with a spectacular view.

One of the bedrooms didn’t have air conditioning, and the shower was a bit broken. Otherwise all good.

The location is amazing and the property is spacious and is good value for money. There is a lot of outdoor space and the roof terrace has fantastic views, allowing you to really appreciate Ceflau. Angela and her parents were great hosts and couldn't do enough to look after us.

The listing does state no parking is available, but doesn't mention that you can't even drive up to drop off luggage etc due to the limited traffic zone. I think it's worth making that clear in the property description. The best parking we found was just under 1km, which is a pain if you have a lot of luggage. That being said Angela did offer to send a taxi. We were staying for a few days so the hassle of doing a few trips to the car was worth it for the location.
