Location
Self check-in is fantastic. No exact appointment required, just a code to enter house and apartment. Though why it requires WhatsApp messaging (my SIM was turned off to use an Italian eSIM - they couldn’t contact me) is beyond me.
Beware the low bulkheads. We are 1.70cm and had to lower our heads.
Price was in line with other properties in Bologna at the time, but it still baffles my mind that I paid more than in Florence and Milan with similar premium locations.

Location and value. Very quirky apartment too built into the old building.
While quirky any longer than 3 days with low ceiling and cramped bathroom and shower would become tiring.

Excellent location right next to Piazza Maggiore. Check-in via key codes was simple and convenient. The apartment was clean and overall a good choice for a short stay in Bologna.
The kitchen could be a little better equipped. For example, there were not enough wine glasses for two people, which we would expect in an apartment in Italy. A kitchen towel for drying dishes was also missing.

Wonderful location within easy walking distance of all museums we wanted to see and conference location in university district.
Delightful little street with excellent cafe, bar and restaurant.. Great communication with owners.
Hard to climb 5 sets of staircases with heavy bags and quite cramped inside due to sloping ceiling.

"Das historische Haus mit seiner absolut zentralen Lage war sensationell. Wir liebten das Dachgeschoss. Sehr ruhig und gemütlich und extrem flexibel durch den self check-in. Guido war im der Kommunikat..."
