Hôtel Square Louvois

Good value for money by Parisian standards. Enjoyed the breakfast and the complementary champagne. Clean and friendly staff. Great location in terms of ease of getting by. Super close to all the touristy places.

Right on the border between luxurious Opera district and popular eastern foodie hub (lots of Korean / sushi / japanese shops nearby). Can get quite noisy in night. Very safe though.

We loved our stay at Hotel Square Louvois. The reception staff spoke English and were very friendly and attentive. We even had a complimentary bottle of bubbles in our room on arrival. The room was cosy but not cramped, had everything we needed, and was superbly decorated and appointed. The swimming pool in the basement was a tranquil refuge after spending the day exploring the city (sometimes in sweltering 32 degree heat). The location of the hotel is in Paris' Japanese Quarter or "Little Tokyo" so there was a multitude of Japanese restaurants within a few minutes' walk away - fabulous when you don't feel like going far for dinner after a big day.

Expensive - but for what we got in return, I am satisfied. The pool jets only seem to come on every so often so must be on a timer - I couldn't find a button to activate them. A hot spa pool would be a nice addition in the pool area.

The hotel is stunningly decorated. The staff are incredibly friendly and generous. The breakfasts and afternoon snacks had a great selection and the food was delicious. The pool was an added bonus. We even received a complimentary bottle of champagne with chocolates. The area around the hotel feels safe too.
