Hotell Viking

It's a quiet and old hotel. Free parking (don't come too late or it could be full). Decent breakfast. Friendly staff. Drinks and snacks available to buy. As mentioned, it is old, and some places it shows. Some of it is charming. Some of it, like the mysterious brown stain on the antique chair in my room, maybe less. But overall a comfortable place to stay.

The hotel is located in a pretty dull area. However it is a fairly short and not very scenic walk to the tiny town centre - which is pretty dull too. The breakfast was ok, but could have been better. The hotel seemed fairly clean, but I came over a few places they'd forgotten (underside of the toilet seat...) as well as the stains mentioned above. It would also have been cool if they had properly programmed more of the TV channels available into the remote control except for only a handful Swedish ones (luckily I did figure it out by myself eventually).

Breakfast started too late

Nostalgisches Hotel welches gut gelegen ist für die Durchreise. Das Zimmer und der Frühstücksbereich waren sauber. Frühstück vollkommen ausreichend.

In der Nacht raschelte es in den Wänden was jedoch zum Alter des Hauses passt.

Location fine, bed was comfy.

At check in, told breakfast would be at 8.30am due to a holiday. Reset entire cycling day based on this, only to find breakfast being served at 7.30am next morning. Also at check in told by the young woman that she would come out and show us where to store our bikes, but she forgot, leaving us waiting in the cold rain. Bathroom fan and light on motion sensor only, which stayed on for ages, and meant the bedroom lit up when someone got up in the night. Told this was a known problem.
